Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then travel to Nottinghamshire and onto Warner Thoresby Hall for a four-night stay. Enjoy a delicious evening meal and fantastic entertainment.
We visit the historic city of Lincoln, with its tangle of cobbled medieval streets filled with high street shops and boutiques side-by-side. Its impressive castle and cathedral are situated high above the city, and are well worth the walk up ‘Steep Hill’ as you'll be rewarded with truly magnificent architecture.
Relax in the scenic surroundings of Thoresby Hall and enjoy Warner’s activities and entertainment, or, if you prefer, join our optional excursion to the glorious Peak District.
We admire the stunning landscapes on a scenic drive and call at Castleton, a beautiful village situated at the head of the Hope Valley. Founded in 1086 after the building of Peveril Castle, and built by the son of William the Conqueror, Castleton is steeped in history and is the quintessential classic English hamlet.
We also call at Bakewell, another picture-perfect Peak District town and famous for the delicious tart!
