Full Time Travel Advisor
Working within our Contact Centre, you will help travel agents and our direct customers to plan and book their holidays with ease using our in-house database/booking system. A 4-week training programme will equip you with the necessary skills to give a professional, effective and efficient service, including all current legislation and compliancy requirements.
You will need the following skills and attributes:
- Previous customer service experience
- Previous telephone sales experience or a travel related qualification
- An interest in travel
- Confident communicator
- Basic IT literacy
- Accurate keyboard skills
The Contact Centre telephone lines are open:
- Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 8.00pm
- Saturdays – 9.00am – 5.00pm
- Sundays – 10.00am – 4.00pm
In addition to the above working hours, each Tuesday morning there is a training session (8.30am – 9.00am) . The extra ½ hour is taken back in lieu during the same week, arranged on the rota and the telephone lines open at 9am on this day.
Full time hours are 37.5 hrs with 1 hour lunch (except on Sundays).
Sundays are currently overtime and you will generally be requested to work 1 in 4, though during busy periods this will be 2 in 4.
5.30pm – 8pm is currently overtime and can be paid or taken in lieu, subject to department needs. Generally you will be required to work 1 late night each week. Again, this may increase during busy periods.
The department works on a rota basis, which is produced approximately 4 weeks in advance.
Holiday days are on a request basis.
£18K per annum + commission

Experienced European Coach Drivers
We have an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers to join our dynamic team, who have a positive and enthusiastic approach and ensuring that the customer is at the forefront of all plans and decision making.
We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people, have a flexible schedule and enjoy European travel. You must have an excellent customer service background and be able to maintain professional and polite communication with both us the company, and customers, at all times, in an effective way in order to enhance the reputation of Leger Holidays. Additionally, the successful applicant should be comfortable communicating on a microphone to our customers during the tours which would be allocated to you.
It is essential to have European driving experience and the successful applicant must be prepared to work from March to November, plus Christmas and New Year as a team and with a fellow driver.
A clean driving record, full PCV licence, bus and coach CPC are a requirement.
As a condition of employment, all applicants will be required to submit to background checks.
If successful at the interview stage, we would recommend you to a coach operator who you will be directly employed by. The operator would outline their own company conditions.
- Minimum 21 years of age.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A clean driving record, full PCV licence, bus and coach CPC.
- Meet all Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
- Minimum of two years, verifiable experience operating an executive coach or large vehicle, or verified completion of a qualified, comprehensive driver training program.
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 20kg.
- Excellent map-reading and navigational skills.
- Ability to work with others and accomplish goals in a team environment.
