Local departure by coach, then to northern France for an overnight stay.
This morning, we leave our hotel after breakfast and commence our journey to Germany. We pause in the town of Metz where you will have time to explore the Christmas Markets.
Later this afternoon, we continue to the Black Forest and our hotel for the next three-nights with a welcome drink on arrival.

Get ready for a picturesque drive south through the stunning Black Forest. During our exploration, we visit Lake Constance and the Rhine Falls.
Today’s first point of call is the Rhine Falls before continuing on to Lake Constance to join a short walking tour in Meersburg. Afterwards enjoy free time before returning to the hotel for dinner.

No trip to the Black Forest is complete without a visit to the beautiful town of Triberg. Known as Germany’s home of the cuckoo clock, the town boasts the world’s largest clock of its kind.
Here you also find the impressive Triberg Waterfalls. Later in the afternoon, visit the famous Ravenna Gorge with its stunning Christmas market.

We say goodbye to the Black Forest and head into France to our overnight hotel. En route we pause at the beautiful city of Strasbourg.
Strasbourg is a vibrant multicultural city and capital of the Alsace region. Strasbourg is also the official seat of the European Parliament and its historic city centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During the festive season, the Christkindelsmarik (market of the Child Jesus), comes alive. There will be time here for you to stroll through the Marché de Noël, absorbing the sights and smells of seasonal treats.
This afternoon we continue to our hotel in northern France. (Suitable refreshment stops will be made en-route).
