It lies on the east coast of Ireland along the banks of the River Liffey. Dublin Castle, Christchurch Cathedral, Trinity College and the beautiful St. Stephen’s Green lie south of the Liffey, whilst the glorious Custom House, majestic Four Courts and famous General Post Office add grace to Dublin’s Northside. The oldest continuously populated city in Spain, Cadiz is a unique ocean port in south west Spain that has been inhabited for the last 3000 years. Located on a peninsula jutting into the Gulf of Cadiz, the city is surrounded almost entirely by water and thanks to its historical trade links, it has many foreign influences that are still visible today. Narrow cobbled streets, small squares and weather-beaten buildings dating back to the Moors make the old city a charming place to explore with look-out towers used by merchants to spot returning trade ships scattered along the skyline.

Famously contested, Gibraltar is a renowned headland in the Mediterranean Sea. In ancient times known as the Pillars of Hercules with its African counterpart, Mt Abyla, the Rock has remained under British rule for the last 300 years, despite being connected to Spain. A towering 1400 ft outcrop that separates the Mediterranean from the Atlantic, Gibraltar was named Jebel al-Tarik by the Moorish General Tarik who landed there in 711 AD. See the famous Barbary apes that occupy the island as well as St Michael’s Cave and the Siege Tunnels or admire the view to Africa from a cable car.

Located on the western coast of Africa, cosmopolitan Casablanca is Morocco’s largest city with a thriving tourism trade. Blending the modern world with the ancient, Casablanca can be accurately described as a cultural melting pot with clear African, Arabic and European influences. The city’s many parks, fountains and recognisably Art Deco flourishes are all courtesy of the French Protectorate who made the city their administrative centre in the early part of the 20th Century. Highlights include the impressive Hassan Il Mosque, the ornate Mauresque architecture and gleaming white 1930’s buildings immortalised in the classic film starring Humphrey Bogart.

All hotel rooms benefit from private bathroom facilities.
Some hotels have tea and coffee making facilities. Please check the tour pages for more information or call our Customer Service Department on 01709 830333.
Most hotels have a lift, please call our Customer Service Department on 01709 830333 for more information.

Your hotels will supply towels in your room.

CMV Magellan joined the CMV fleet in 2015 to much acclaim. Able to carry 1,250 guests, CMV Magellan offers a more traditional and leisurely ‘country house’ style of cruising and maritime experience. Enjoy traditional wood type decking and expansive deck areas on a smaller ship able to access more ports of call than the larger resort ships, enabling some really innovative itineraries.

    Onboard Facilities
Discover a wide range of comfortable lounges and stylish leisure facilities to enrich your time on board. The wide range of public facilities include the impressive Waldorf and Kensington Restaurants offering two dining sittings, or the more informal Raffles Bistro. There are comfortable lounge areas throughout, including the two-tier theatre-style CMV Magellan Show Lounge and a wide range of other amenities. Out on deck, there are two swimming pools, three whirlpools and large deck areas.

    Cabins
Your cabin is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day sightseeing ashore and your cabin steward will ensure that you enjoy a high degree of comfort and service, whichever grade of accommodation you decide best suits your holiday requirements. A high priority is placed on your comfort, with hanging and storage space and a designated steward service twice daily, including a nightly turndown service.  All cabins offer twin lower beds, bathroom with shower, T.V., telephone, hairdryer, music console, safe, air conditioning and complimentary pool towel.
