All walks Category. B. Mountain hikes are on average 4 to 5 hours with extended and partially steep climbs and descents. Walks are at high altitude, therefore a good level of fitness is required. You'll be part of a small group with your own guide. The walks take place in all weathers, although in some cases they may be changed because of extreme weather conditions. Good walking boots (preferably above the ankle), light sportswear, sun protection (hat, sun cream, sunglasses) and rainwear are recommended, plus plenty to drink and light snacks such as fruit or muesli bars are advised.

You will stay for six nights at the 3-star Zum Schlössl, in Uttenheim, which together with our local host, Ann-Marie, has been welcoming Leger Holidays guests for almost 30 years and remains a firm favourite. The hotel has a bar, restaurant and terrace but does not have a lift.
