Fly to Boston where you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
This morning, we travel through the rural New England states of New Hampshire and Vermont on our way to Canada. We will pass through small picturesque villages and the White Mountains, which are particularly beautiful during the fall foliage.
We will cross the international border to enter the Canadian province of Québec. Perhaps visit an authentic maple farm and this evening, take the opportunity to sample some of the celebrated French-Canadian cuisine (optional).

We begin the day with a tour of Québec City, the French capital of the province and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Highlights include the Québec Provincial Parliament Building and the Citadelle.
Then, enjoy a walking tour of the walled city, where you will see the Château de Frontenac, as well as unparalleled views of the Saint Lawrence River.
You may want to enjoy a finishing pastry, baguette or candy treat, and, if time allows, may we suggest a visit to Rue du Tresor before departing to Montréal. Upon arrival, take an optional tour of Old Montréal, the area known as the 'Vieux Port', with stops at Place Jacques Cartier and Notre Dame Basilica.We depart Montréal for the capital of Canada, Ottawa. This vibrant city of parks and flowers boasts one of the most impressive parliament buildings in the world.
In the afternoon, we continue along the 1000 Islands Parkway to the largest English-speaking city in Canada, Toronto, located on the shore of Lake Ontario.
Join an optional excursion on the St. Lawrence River and explore the magnificent scenery on a relaxing cruise.

We begin the day with a drive through Toronto’s impressive collection of modern skyscrapers, most notably, the CN Tower, one of the world’s tallest free-standing structure (1,815 ft./553 m). Do you dare to stand on the glass floor located over 300 meters above Toronto (optional)?
We continue along Lake Ontario, crossing the Welland Canal, before arriving at Niagara Falls, where you will be amazed at this natural wonder. Stroll along Table Rock, see the unique Floral Clock and view the thundering water of the Horseshoe Falls.
Perhaps take an optional tour on the renowned Hornblower Cruises boat ride at the base of the falls.
Today, we ride through the rolling farmland of upstate New York, known as the Finger Lakes region, and enter the keystone state of Pennsylvania.
This afternoon, visit the historic Gettysburg Civil War national battleground, site of the largest battle ever fought on American soil, and the place where President Lincoln gave his famous address in 1863.
We travel along the Susquehanna River to south Pennsylvania for an overnight stay.
We travel through rural countryside to Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Visit an Amish museum and see their 300-year-old tradition of simple living (admission included). The Amish people live in a world that stopped in the mid 1850s. They use no electricity, mechanical devices, or modern equipment.
In the afternoon, we continue to the nation’s capital, Washington, D.C.
Today, enjoy a tour of the nation’s Capitol with such highlights as the Washington Monument, the Lincoln Memorial, the White House and Arlington National Cemetery, site of the JFK Memorial.
Spend the remainder of the day exploring some of the many museums comprising the Smithsonian Institute, or, simply stroll the banks of the Potomac River.Arrival in the UK.

This tour requires customers to have a certain degree of fitness as it is a very full itinerary. Wheelchairs must be prior approved by ATI. This is due to luggage space being at a premium on the coach. Customers are subject to 1 piece of hold luggage each, additional pieces are subject to approval by ATI and may be charged at a supplement. Passengers with medical conditions which impair their travels and may require assistance must make these conditions known at the time of booking. Tour Directors are not permitted to personally intervene or assist in medical emergencies, or assist passengers with prior medical conditions. Passengers with physical challenges must always travel with a companion who can assist them.
All coaches are equipped with a lavatory. As facilities for properly serving the lavatory are extremely limited outside major metropolitan areas, the on-board lavatory is principally intended for emergency use. Of course, frequent stops are made throughout the day for the customers comfort.
You may find that your tour coach does not have seat belts as American Law doesn't require them. Please note, due to local laws at least one person in each room booked must be aged 21 years or over.
Persons under 21 years of age cannot enter casinos (including those in hotels) alone in the USA and must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 21 or over.
IMPORTANT VISA INFORMATION Travel Authorisation via the Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA) is required prior to travelling to the USA under the Visa Waiver Program, for which an additional charge of approximately $14 per person is made. Log onto the ESTA Web site at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov and complete an online application in English. The web-based system will prompt you to answer basic biographical and eligibility questions typically requested on a paper I-94W form. Applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel, however, DHS recommends that applications be submitted no less than 72 hours prior to travel. It is your responsibility to ensure you hold the correct passport and visa (if required) to enter the United States of America. If you are in any doubt please contact the appropriate embassy.
