Our excursion today takes us to the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck, which straddles the River Inn and is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery. The Christmas markets should still be open to provide some extra festive flavour (subject to confirmation of dates).

We spend Christmas Eve enjoying a scenic drive through the Austrian Tyrol and during the day we will spend some time in Kufstein, famous for its castle perched above the town.

Merry Christmas! Enjoy some free time in your hotel today and celebrate Christmas. During the day, we will enjoy a horse and carriage ride (weather permitting) through the local countryside before enjoying a Christmas dinner and some entertainment tonight.

Today we experience the famous ski resort of Kitzbühel with its historical town centre full of character and charm. Today it is a fashionable and prosperous winter resort, a stark contrast to the original copper and silver mining centre. You will have time to stroll around the town or enjoy the many cafés and restaurants. This afternoon we enjoy a scenic journey on the Pinzgau Railway enjoying the surrounding Alpine scenery.

We depart the Austrian Tyrol today and journey across Austria to the Vorarlberg and our host town of Feldkirch and the Weisses Kreuz hotel. En-route we will stop in St Anton, a picturesque ski resort popular with skiers from around the world.

This morning we visit St Gallen, a picture-perfect Swiss town with a picturesque traffic-free old town. Look out for the colourful painted windows which are a feature, and the Abbey Precinct housing the cathedral and library is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This afternoon we head to the town of Konstanz on the shores of Lake Constance. See the Romanesque Cathedral with its Gothic spire and the town hall with its decorative frescoes. On a clear day you can see the Alps from Konstanz harbour.

Enjoy some free time in the hotel and Feldkirch today or for those that have pre-booked our optional excursion on the Glacier Express route, we travel to Chur and board our regional train. Climb through unforgettable scenery to the summit of the Oberalp Massif before arriving in Andermatt and returning to our hotel by coach.

We journey into the heart of Switzerland, where the charming city of Zurich awaits, nestled along the shores of Lake Zurich and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Stroll through the quaint cobblestoned streets of the Old Town, where medieval buildings and lively cafes create a cosy atmosphere.

We start our day today with a visit to Bregenz, perched on the banks of Lake Constance. Wander the lakeside promenade or the festive shopping streets.
Located on the eastern side of Lake Constance, Lindau is a stunning and historic island town. With its famous harbour entrance flanked by a lighthouse and a Bavarian lion sculpture, plus the splendid old town hall and Mangenturm tower by the harbour, there’s a lot to see and do here!

Nestled in the mountainous Vorarlberg region of Austria, we visit our host town of Feldkirch this morning. Stroll through the streets of the medieval Old Town, along narrow cobble-stoned alleys, and admire the historic buildings and towers, the most famous being the Katzcenturm, or Cats Tower.
This afternoon, we continue into Liechtenstein and the capital city of Vaduz where you can enjoy historic sites and stunning views. Despite its small size, the castle, museums and scenic beauty offers a truly delightful experience.
