Itinerary
Please choose your preferred 6 day itinerary
Make your own way to London St. Pancras International where you will meet your friendly Tour Manager and board the Eurostar to Amsterdam. On arrival, we take the train to Zaandam and then it’s a short walk to our hotel. We check in to our hotel and enjoy a dinner at the hotel this evening.

After breakfast at the hotel, we travel by train to Amsterdam, the vibrant capital of the Netherlands. Enjoy an included canal cruise through the city's picturesque waterways, offering a unique perspective on Amsterdam's historic architecture, charming bridges and bustling neighbourhoods. Sit back and relax as you glide past elegant merchant houses and iconic canal-side landmarks.
Following the cruise, there is free time to explore at your leisure. Discover world-renowned museums and art galleries, browse the city's distinctive shops or simply soak up the atmosphere in one of Amsterdam's many cafés, bars and restaurants. Later, we return by train to Zaandam and our hotel, where we enjoy dinner tonight.

Following breakfast at the hotel, we depart by coach for a visit to the world-famous Keukenhof Gardens. Known as one of the most beautiful spring gardens in the world, Keukenhof is renowned for its breathtaking displays of tulips, hyacinths, daffodils and other seasonal blooms.
Enjoy ample free time to wander at your own pace through the colourful floral displays, immaculately landscaped gardens and inspiring exhibition areas. Later, we return by coach to the hotel, where dinner is included this evening, providing the perfect opportunity to relax and reflect on a memorable day.

Today we depart by coach for a full-day excursion exploring three of the Netherlands' most fascinating cities in the company of a local guide. Our first stop is vibrant Rotterdam, renowned for its striking modern architecture, impressive skyline and bustling waterfront.
We then continue to the historic city of Delft, famous for its charming canals, beautiful market square and world-renowned blue-and-white pottery. Finally, we visit The Hague, the elegant seat of the Dutch government and home to grand boulevards, historic buildings and international institutions. Enjoy time to explore each destination before returning to the hotel.

Today we travel by coach to the historic town of Hoorn, where we visit the fascinating Museum of Hoorn and discover the rich maritime heritage of the region. We then board the nostalgic Medemblik Steam Railway for a memorable journey through the beautiful North Holland countryside, experiencing the romance of rail travel from a bygone era.
After time at leisure in the charming harbour town of Medemblik, we continue our adventure with a scenic Friesland Cruise across the IJsselmeer. Sit back and relax as we sail across the Netherlands' largest inland lake, enjoying panoramic views of the Dutch coastline and traditional waterside communities. This delightful combination of heritage rail travel and leisurely cruising offers a wonderful insight into the history and landscapes of the Netherlands before we return to the hotel.
