Note: Although Rome is a relatively compact city, we would remind you that days 2 & 4 excursions are walking tours, which may not be suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties and also we would recommend you wear suitable shoes.
Fly to Rome, where you will be met and transferred to your hotel for four nights.
Join our included half-day excursion of Ancient Rome. We meet our local guide for a walking tour, which includes sights such as St. Peter in Chains Basilica, the outside of the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Memorial to King Vittorio Emanuele II and the Capitol Hill. Later, enjoy free time to explore independently – yours to discover are sights such as the the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, and maybe take a tour of the Colosseum? Please note: although Rome is a relatively compact city, this is a walking tour and not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. We also recommend you wear suitable shoes for the day.

Today we enjoy an included half-day guided excursion exploring the key sights of Christian Rome. We visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, where you can admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece ceiling. See St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest of all Catholic churches, with its amazing grand and elaborate interior. Later, enjoy free time for shopping or further exploration.
