We spent 2 out of 4 days travelling, which included a 14 hour travel time on the first day. Too much for us and very tiring. I thought the trip was a horse racing break but the Saturday racing was not included, which meant we had to make our own way to the racecourse, costing 80 euros in taxis. A hotel in Suresnes would be better for all concerned. The coach drivers were excellent and the hotel was simple but fine even though the breakfast was minimal. All in all not for us.

We were told we would get a continental breakfast every day but the hotel wanted us to take a breakfast bag instead. Bag had no sandwiches in just biscuits, jam and a piece of fruit, wouldn’t fill anyone! We complained and eventually got a breakfast on 2 days. Need to let clients know there are no tea/coffee the room.

The trip on an whole was lovely , the journey was great no hitches at all , drivers Jason and Michael were fabulous they really enhanced our trip great boys. Hotel was lovely and clean but no information / facilities like bar etc. The one thing that let this trip down badly was the place we were staying in nothing there only two or three restaurants which were lovely but that was it , when we came on the trip two years ago we stayed at Le Cardinal which was situated in a lovely little place and I was disappointed that we didn't go back there. I wouldn't book to go back to le plessis-robinson again and we are thinking of going back a third time .

Jason and Michael were fantastic-excellent drivers and hosts. Stop 24 interchange was swift and well organised. Hotel was a bit basic with no safes in rooms and twin room for married couple, required 2 metros and 1 tram to get back from Paris. However the breakfast was very good with variety. Leger could have provided details earlier (even approx) of the coach to and from Paris on the Saturday to enable advance planning, didn't think the pre-information was very clear on this. Additional paid for excursion Saturday was excellent, we saw a lot and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Coach journeys were long and not all passengers respectful of others. Couldn't fault the raceday arrangements. Overhead storage on coach was more spacious than expected.Felt a bit cheated by the door to door service as we paid £45 single for an approx 4 mile journey- as the transport went on to collect others at the original pick up point before going on to join the feeder coach.
