Why not join our optional sightseeing tour, drawing you into the medieval quarter and the narrow streets where the merchants of the Hanseatic League once lived. Learn their stories and discover the history of this 900-year-old city alongside our local guide.
The tour closes with a memorable ride on the Fløibanen Funicular, lifting you to the top of Mount Fløyen for breathtaking views over the harbour and the colourful wooden houses beneath. Later, the road draws on to Voss and your hotel for a three-night stay.

We board the Flåm Railway in Voss and ride from the mountain station of Myrdal down to the fjord at Flåm – the most magnificent scenery unfolding around you with every turn, cascading waterfalls and lofty mountains drawing close.
In Flåm, time at leisure follows; or perhaps join our optional excursion, with a short drive to the Stegastein viewpoint for the unforgettable panoramas over the Aurlandsfjord. From here, the journey continues by boat along the Aurlandsfjord and into the Nærøyfjord, one of the narrowest fjords in Europe – an amazingly beautiful spot. The Hardanger Nature Museum draws together the very best of Norwegian nature across its many exhibits. The Stavanger region is a land of striking contrasts, where vast beaches meet majestic fjords and towering mountains – it's why they call themselves the edge of Norway. One of the region's greatest charms is just how effortlessly you can step into nature. Stavanger is also among the oldest settlements in Norway, its many museums opening windows on everything from the Vikings onwards, and its Old Town home to 173 restored wooden buildings – quaint white cottages set among beautiful gardens and cobblestone streets.
