Make your own way to London St. Pancras International and board the Eurostar to Cologne via Brussels. On arrival, our coach picks us up and transfers us to our ship where we enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening on board.

This morning we sail to Andernach, an attractive walled town with a pretty riverside promenade. During the afternoon, you can join our optional excursion to the picturesque town of Winningen for some wine tasting. Here, you can sample delicious local wines and find out all about the cultivation and origin of the grapes and how they are made into wine.

Relax aboard our ship this morning and enjoy the passing scenery as we cruise towards Boppard, where you have the afternoon at leisure to explore. Once a Roman fort, Boppard is made up of lively squares and quiet lanes where traces of its early Roman heritage are evident. Enjoy a relaxing stroll or indulge in a glass or two of some of the best wines the Middle Rhine has to offer.

Happy New Year! This morning we continue our course down the Rhine, arriving into Cologne during the early afternoon. This beautiful city is the largest on the Rhine and is dominated by its cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece which hovers above the rooftops. You are free to explore this vibrant city at leisure before we enjoy our final dinner and a relaxing evening aboard our ship.

We bid farewell to our captain and crew this morning before transferring by coach to Cologne Railway Station, where we travel by train to Brussels and then by Eurostar to London St. Pancras International. After arriving in London, you will make your own way home.

MS Swiss Crown
The 4-star MS Swiss Crown has belonged to the Scylla fleet since 2000 and was renovated in 2019. Adults-only and attentively crewed by 36 dedicated crew members, she carries just 141 passengers across 68 cabins spread over three decks – a scale that makes for an intimate and social experience on the water. On this adults-only vessel, you can enjoy excellent facilities, including a panoramic lounge with comfortable seating, a welcoming bar and stylish restaurant, a choice of five cabin types, a wellness area with a sauna and steam bath, a reading corner, an onboard shop and a spacious sun deck with sun loungers and a plunge pool. An elevator connects all decks, with the exception of the sun deck, and the vessel is fully air-conditioned.
