Today we visit historic Truro, Cornwall's one and only city. Featuring elegant Georgian architecture and a stunning three-spired cathedral, Truro is the perfect place to begin your Christmas gift search with endless shopping opportunities, as well as a fantastic selection of restaurants and bars.
We then call at Heartlands, a 19-acre Cornish Mining World Heritage Site. Celebrating Cornish heritage and culture, we enjoy a traditional cream tea!

Today we visit the magnificent Eden Project. Housing the largest indoor rainforest in the world, you will find lush landscapes filled with exotic plants at this all-weather attraction. Experience the sights, smells and scale of rainforests in the Rainforest Biome, and amble amongst the orange and lemon trees in the Mediterranean Biome!
We then visit one of the largest indoor markets in the UK, Par Market.

After breakfast, we depart the hotel and take a guided tour of Bodmin Jail, a fully accessible all-weather attraction. Here, we explore the legends of Cornwall’s pirates, smugglers, and murky past, especially the legacy of Georgian and Victorian crime and punishment.
Following a drive over Bodmin Moor, we visit the Jamaica Inn. Open to visitors since 1750, the traditional inn became world-famous when Daphne du Maurier wrote a best-selling novel about her November 1930 stay. Featuring artefacts of smuggling and shipwrecks, a visit the Smuggling Museum is included, and there is also a gift shop and farm shop with local Cornish produce.
