38th International Queen Fan Club Convention
The annual International Queen Fan Club Convention is back for the 38th time! This residential, non-stop party sees Queen fans congregate from all corners of the globe for a jam-packed weekend full of events featuring live music, guest-star interviews, discos each night, quizzes, games and fancy dress parties. There will be a Queen-related Market Place to help search for wanted items to top up collections, as well as a charity auction with unique items up for grabs! Enjoy sport competitions, unseen footage, most popular live shows and videos, and more – expect everything Queen from morning ‘til night!
Since the conventions began, we have had many guests from the Queenworld past who tell their own unique stories. How did Freddie design the famous gauntlet? What was it like when Freddie met Montserrat Caballe? How did Roger put his first band together? Where did Brian leave the Red Special heading to a gig? Why did the band have a number of bass players? Stories unfold at the event, and these stories are from the people that were there and know exactly what happened.
We have also had many exclusives at the event; new albums played, videos shown of documentaries and live concerts from the past and present, and there has been appearances of Brian's Red Special, Roger’s drum kit, band stage costumes, Freddie’s stamp collection and even Freddie's Rolls-Royce!
The last convention was also a celebration of our 50th anniversary! We held a 'Let Them Eat Cake' competition, and your creations were seriously mouth-watering! Everyone loved the interview with John Harris, Queen’s sound engineer from their humble beginnings, as well as the live performances from outstanding bands and musicians, including Kinda Queen, Lenny Zakatek, Eddie Howell, Mike Moran, We are Champion and The Royal Band-Queen Tribute! We can't forget our enthusiastic guest speakers, Greg Brooks, Simon Lupton and Vicky Farmer – you guys rocked!
This is the place to meet up with old friends and make new ones, and if you’ve never been before, why not come along and join in the fun? The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and before the first night is over, we're sure you will have made new-found acquaintances. This is THE party that never ends!

To book a place at the Convention, at least one person per booking must be a fan club member, non-members will be charged an additional £30 per person. When booking online, if you are a member you need to add your membership number to the ‘Membership Number and Special Requirements’ section. If you are unable to supply this, you will be charged an additional fee of £30 per person (the non-members price) and sent a new confirmation invoice which will show the non-member price. Once we receive your membership details, the additional fee of £30 per person will be removed and another confirmation invoice will be issued, which will show the member price.

Make your own way to the Haven Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire – you are able to arrive on site from 11am. You're free to grab something to eat, have a drink, and meet up with old friends ahead of check-in which will commence this afternoon. Take time to read the programme for the rest of the weekend once you are settled in your accommodation. The main function room opens at 7pm this evening for some karaoke before the official welcome at 8pm. Enjoy a performance by the live band this evening, 'Kinda Queen' followed by our very own Queen DJ playing Queen hits.
Enjoy a full day of fantastic entertainment! Watch some rare footage on the big screens, grab a bargain in the Market Place, take part in the arts and crafts competition or one of the quizzes, and watch guest interviews. Don’t miss the Charity Auction which will have you digging deep!
This evening is the famous fancy dress competition and a live band performance,'Don't Stop Queen Now', followed by our very own Queen DJ playing Queen hits.

Today is another full day of entertainment. Be sure to visit the Fan Club shop for one last time or enter a sport competition. This evening is the prize presentation and raffle draw, before the last band of the weekend 'Belladonic Haze'. Enjoy a final dance and singalong as our Queen DJ plays Queen hits!
