Finding the right Rail Holiday for you
EASY - holidays travelling solely by Eurostar or involving one train change. These tours involve minimal changes - usually just one train journey or one change in each direction. You'll need to be comfortable walking for 10-20 minutes and carrying your own luggage on and off trains.
MODERATE - holidays involving a minimum of two train changes. Ideal if you're happy with a bit more movement. These tours may include at least two train changes, and you should be able to walk for 30-40 minutes, possibly including stairs and platform changes, while managing your own luggage.
ACTIVE - holidays involving three or more train changes. Great for those who enjoy a more active travel experience. These tours can involve three or more train changes and require walking for at least 40 minutes,including stairs and station transfers. You'll need to carry your own luggage throughout.

38th International Queen Fan Club Convention
The annual International Queen Fan Club Convention is back for the 38th time! This residential, non-stop party sees Queen fans congregate from all corners of the globe for a jam-packed weekend full of events featuring live music, guest-star interviews, discos each night, quizzes, games and fancy dress night. There will be a Queen-related Market Place to help search for wanted items to top up collections, as well as a charity auction with unique items up for grabs! Enjoy sport competitions, unseen footage, most popular live shows and videos, and more – expect everything Queen from morning ‘til night!
Since the conventions began, we have welcomed several guests from the Queenworld past to share their own unique stories. How did Freddie design the famous gauntlet? What was it like when Freddie met Montserrat Caballe? How did Roger put his first band together? Where did Brian leave the Red Special heading to a gig? Why did the band have a number of bass players? Stories unfold at the event, and these stories are from the people that were there and know exactly what happened.
We have also had many exclusives at the event; new albums played, videos shown of documentaries and live concerts from the past and present, and there has been appearances of Brian's Red Special, Roger’s drum kit, band stage costumes, Freddie’s stamp collection and even Freddie's Rolls-Royce!
At the last convention a highlight was the interview with Spike Edney, keyboard player and musical director for WWRY, as well as the live performances from outstanding bands and musicians, including Kinda Queen, Dont Stop Queen Now and Belladonic Haze and we can't forget our enthusiastic guest speakers, Greg Brooks, John Harris and Ken Testi – you guys rocked!
This is the place to meet up with old friends and make new ones, and if you’ve never been before, why not come along and join in the fun? The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and before the first night is over, we're sure you will have made new-found acquaintances. This is THE party that never ends!

To book a place at the Convention, at least one person per booking must be a fan club member, non-members will be charged an additional £30 per person. When booking online, if you are a member you need to add your membership number to the ‘Membership Number and Special Requirements’ section. If you are unable to supply this, you will be charged an additional fee of £30 per person (the non-members price) and sent a new confirmation invoice which will show the non-member price. Once we receive your membership details, the additional fee of £30 per person will be removed and another confirmation invoice will be issued, which will show the member price.

Make your own way to the Haven Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, Lincolnshire – you are able to arrive on site from 11am and free to grab something to eat, have a drink, and meet up with old friends ahead of check-in which will commence this afternoon. The complimentary Breakthru buses will operate between Skegness Railway Station and Golden Sands Holiday Park this afternoon.
Once you are settled into your caravan, please take time to read the programme and see what's ahead for the rest of the weekend before the main function room opens at 7pm for karaoke and the Official Welcome at 8pm. Enjoy a performance by the live band before tonight's disco with our very own Queen DJ playing Queen hits.

Enjoy a full day of fantastic entertainment! Watch some rare footage on the big screens, grab a bargain in the Market Place, take part in the Arts and Crafts competition or one of the quizzes, and enjoy special guest interviews.
