Today we drive through the picturesque Cotswolds and visit Sudeley Castle, a serene medieval fortress that was once the residence of Katherine Parr, Henry VIII’s final wife. Explore the castle at your leisure and don’t miss the chance to witness Katherine Parr’s tomb in the charming chapel, surrounded by the breathtaking gardens. It is the only private castle in England to have a Queen buried in its grounds.
We then continue to Tetbury which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and the second largest town in the Cotswolds. It is the home of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort of the United Kingdom. Tetbury was an important market for Cotswold wool and yarn during the Middle Ages. Today, it is better associated with boutique shops, great food, and its Royal Connections.

Discover the delights of Somerset as we travel through the beautiful scenery, calling at charming villages along the way. Firstly, we call at the village of Cheddar, home to the magnificent ravine that carves its way through the landscape.
We continue to Wells, England’s smallest cathedral city. Quintessentially English, the compact, cobbled centre is home to plenty of independent shops and high-street brands.
We round the day off with a visit to Glastonbury. Rich in myth and legend, Glastonbury is known for its ancient and medieval sights, and, of course, one of the most famous music festivals in the world!
