Sail from Rotterdam to Zaandam, arriving mid-afternoon. The town is located on the banks of the Zaan River and you'll have free time to explore. Be sure to visit Czaar Peterhuisje – dating back to 1697, the wooden house was visited by Tsar Peter of Russia before his visit to Amsterdam. Peter the Great also stayed here in 1697 before he left for the V.O.C. shipyards in Amsterdam. With his brief stay, he gave this humble wooden labourer’s house its name and fame. Enjoy a relaxing evening on board as we are berthed overnight in Zaandam.

Disembark after breakfast and board the coach for a full-day excursion to the Keukenhof Gardens. Here, you will have plenty of time to explore the 32-hectare site, enjoying themed pavilions and swathes of flowers. We re-join our ship in Amsterdam for our final evening meal on board.
