To Budapest to discover the Hungarian capital at leisure. Unlock the secrets of this fabulous city on our optional, guided tour which takes in many of the highlights including the Fisherman’s Bastion, Chain Bridge and the Parliament Building. This afternoon, we board our cruise ship, the MS Serenity and begin our four-night cruise.

Cruise to Bratislava, the Slovakian capital, where you can join an optional guided tour by coach and on foot. We sail later this evening towards Vienna.

Spend the day in Vienna, city of the waltz. Join our optional sightseeing tour and see the principal sights including the Hofburg Palace, City Hall and the house where Johann Strauss composed the Blue Danube Waltz.

We cruise through the wine producing area of the Wachau, past Krems and Dürnstein, where Richard the Lionheart was kept captive, imprisoned in the castle. We arrive in Melk, where you can visit the magnificent abbey. Later you will see Kuenringer Castle and Greinburg Castle.

We cruise into Passau, picturesquely set where the Danube is joined by the Inn and Ilz rivers. Disembark, then enjoy some free time before we head to Salzburg. Spend time at leisure before continuing to our overnight hotel in the Salzburg area.

Accommodation
You will spend four nights cruising on the 3-star superior MS Serenity. The MS Serenity offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. There's plenty of space on board to gather with friends and chat over drinks or enjoy some quiet time in your own company.
Cabin accommodation is on three decks - main, middle and panorama - and have a window, en suite facilities, T.V., safety deposit box, twin beds and telephone.
The ship has an inviting sun deck and a spacious and attractive lounge/bar, a great place to meet your fellow guests and relax as you watch the scenery pass by.
The spacious restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy your included meals, where you are looked after by the highly professional and friendly service team.
Overnight stays in Austria will be in a 3-star hotel. Your overnight stays in Belgium will be in city-style hotels.
