This morning we offer an optional excursion to Pompeii. A reminder of the violent forces that lie deep inside Mount Vesuvius, Pompeii is Europe’s most compelling archaeological site and one of Italy’s most visited tourist attractions. This afternoon enjoy an optional tour of Naples. Tonight we will have a Neapolitan theme.

The morning will be spent cruising through Aeolian Islands. Rising out of the cobalt-blue seas off Sicily's north-eastern coast, the UNESCO-protected Aeolian Islands are a little piece of paradise. We’ll arrive in Milazzo in Sicily, in the early afternoon. Join us for an optional excursion to Tindari. Discover the Sanctuary of the Black Madonna built on a promontory overhanging the entire Gulf of Patti. This will be followed by a visit to the archaeological site with the Greek theatre, thermal baths and mosaics. Tonight’s dinner will be followed by an evening of dancing on board. We’ll remain in port overnight.

Optional day trip (lunch included) to Mount Etna and Taormina. Spend an unforgettable day combining a visit to these two exceptional sites. The largest active volcano in Europe, Mount Etna is an awe-inspiring sight. The bleak lava wilderness around the summit of Etna is one of the most memorable landscapes you’ll ever see. We’ll then continue on to Taormina, idyllically perched on a rock high above the sea, Taormina perfectly represents the legendary beauty of Sicily. Its Greek-Roman theatre is not to be missed. This evening will have a Sicilian theme.

Optional excursion to Calabria. Calabria is at the toe of the boot, the extreme south of Italy - lapped by the splendid crystal-clear Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas. We’ll begin our visit with Tropea, a seaside resort with impressive scenery. It has that lovely, timeless characteristic of sleepy southern Italian seaside towns. We’ll enjoy a tasting of some local delicacies. We’ll then continue on to Capo Vaticano, known for its dramatic cliffs, breath-taking views, and crystal-clear waters. We’ll cruise towards Salerno throughout the night.

This morning we will discover Sorrento, and its extraordinary gardens and landscapes, before cruising onwards this afternoon. Tonight will be our gala dinner. We cruise through the night

Optional full-day excursion to Capri and Anacapri (lunch included). On arrival, we’ll head to the village of Anacapri and visit the villa San Michele, built at the turn of the last century. Anacapri is located in the highest part of the island, and from the villas gardens you’ll have a fantastic view of the city of Capri, the Gulf of Naples and Mount Vesuvius. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time on your own or visit the Gardens of Augustus, offering splendid views of the sea and fantastic photographic vistas. We’ll return to Naples by airboat. Enjoy our evening folk show on board ship. We’ll remain in port overnight.

Cruise - You will stay for seven nights on board the MS Belle de l’Adriatique, which is part of the CroisiEurope fleet. This impressive four-deck ship has 99 comfortable cabins. Facilities on board include a lounge bar with dance floor, restaurant, pianorama bar, gift shop, library and sun-deck.

Hotel - You will stay for three nights at a city style hotel in the Rome area.
