Itinerary

Make your own way to London St. Pancras International where you will meet your friendly Tour Manager and board Eurostar to Paris. From here, we join the TGV to Nice and transfer by coach to San Remo on the beautiful Italian Riviera.
This morning is free for you to spend at leisure in San Remo. You can relax in our hotel and enjoy the facilities, walk along the beach, or venture into the old town. We include lunch at the hotel before our local guide takes us on a walking tour of San Remo this afternoon.
The most interesting part of the city runs from the old town, the so-called La Pigna down to the sea. In Matteotti Street, admire the Casino and beautiful villas with their exotic gardens. Both lunch and dinner are included in the hotel’s restaurant.

Today, we travel by coach to the hilltop village of Dolceacqua, which enjoys a picture-perfect setting and is filled with striking architecture. The River Nervia runs through its heart, separating the village into two parts – the oldest called Terra, which is dominated by the Doria Castle, and the newest called Borgo. Both are connected by a spectacular medieval bridge, described by Claude Monet as "a jewel of lightness".
We then continue to Isolabona, a charming inland town of narrow alleys and stone houses, where you can enjoy a tasting of local Ligurian wines. We return to the hotel by coach and enjoy dinner in the hotel.

Happy Christmas! This morning is free to relax or perhaps take a walk along the coast before we enjoy a light lunch at the hotel. This evening, we gather for our traditional Christmas meal with live music tonight.

Today we travel by coach to Monaco, a playground for the rich and famous and home to the renowned Grand Prix circuit and exquisite harbour. Admire the casino, walk around the gardens, or take a circular bus tour. Monaco and Monte Carlo become a fairy tale at Christmas, where glittering traditions meet Provençal elegance and international glamour.
During your free time, explore Le Rocher, the historic heart of the Principality, with its medieval streets and sweeping Mediterranean views, then enjoy the festive atmosphere at the Christmas Village by the harbour and the dazzling lights around the casino, avenues, and squares. We return to the hotel by coach and enjoy our evening meal.

Today is free for you to relax in the hotel or explore the local area. This evening, we gather for a farewell drink and our final meal together.

After breakfast, we transfer by coach to Nice. Here, we join the TGV to Paris for our return journey by Eurostar back to London St. Pancras International. After arriving in London, you will make your own way home.

You will stay for six nights at the 4-star Hotel Paradiso in San Remo.
Hotel Paradiso
The 4-star Hotel Paradiso was built in 1926 and has been run by the same family ever since. Franco Gaiani continues the family tradition providing wonderful hospitality. The hotel is located 350 metres from its own private beach with spectacular panoramic views of the sea. It’s also just a few steps from San Remo’s famous Casino. At the Hotel Paradiso, you will enjoy a variety of regional cuisine and a rich buffet breakfast served in the Magnolia restaurant, which overlooks the garden with its exotic plants. There’s also a bar and lounges to relax in. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished and have air-conditioning, a satellite TV, mini-bar, telephone, hairdryer, safe and free Wi-Fi.
