Make your own way to our hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon, where you’ll meet an experienced Tour Manager and enjoy dinner and a relaxing evening.

This morning, a Blue Badge guide will take us on a fascinating walking tour around Stratford-upon-Avon. Steeped in culture and history, William Shakespeare was born here in 1564 in a half-timbered house on Henley Street. The Tudor-style buildings give Stratford its distinctive charm, and the River Avon flowing through the town adds to the atmosphere. After the tour, there will be time to explore further.
After our visit, we board the coach and visit Warwick Castle. Originating from a wooden fort established by William the Conqueror in 1068, the castle has since been transformed into a stately home. With over 1,000 years of rich history to uncover, highlights inside the castle include the Great Hall and the magnificent state rooms. Outside, the stunning grounds and gardens span across 64 acres – be sure to see the Peacock Garden with its sculptured topiary and manicured hedges. Why not also take the time to visit one of the cafés on site?
Our coach returns us back to the hotel where we enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.

Today, our coach takes us to Bridgnorth, where we board the Severn Valley railway and enjoy a return ride by steam. Stretching over 16 miles between Kidderminster and Bridgnorth, we’ll wind along a scenic route by the River Severn and across the 200-metre Victoria Bridge – expect a journey full of breathtaking views. Alighting at Kidderminster station, we will enjoy an included light lunch and refreshments. We board the train and head back to Bridgnorth, where our coach meets us and takes us back to the hotel for our evening meal.
