This morning we take to the water and cruise to the beautiful town of Rüdesheim. We board the boat in Boppard and sail through the Rhine Gorge, arriving in Rüdesheim at around lunchtime. Enjoy free time in the town, which is home of the vibrant Drosselgasse and the famous Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Cabinet, and is lined with restaurants, bars and shops.
Later in the afternoon, we re-join the boat for the return sailing to Boppard. The Rhine is a delight as it meanders through its vine-clad gorge, busy with brightly coloured cruisers and barges.
