Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for a four-night stay.
We make the short journey to Lille today and have a full day to explore. Lille has grown into one of France’s most important cities, famous for its industrial roots and now transformed into the modern, cultural hub it is today. The Old Town, with its picturesque cobbled lanes, is home to impressive French and Flemish architecture, including the famous Vieille Bourse. The Grande Place is a favourite spot for locals, with plenty of cafés and bars to enjoy.
This evening, why not join our optional excursion to Ypres? You’ll have time to explore the Market Square and enjoy dinner in one of the many cafés and restaurants. At 8pm, we’ll experience the Last Post ceremony, performed every evening since 11th November 1929, before returning to our hotel.

We enjoy a full day in Bruges today, exploring its canals, cobbled streets, and the many shops selling famous Belgian chocolate on almost every corner. The historic centre of Bruges is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a joy to visit. As you take in the many wonders of the city and visit sights such as the Belfry and the Basilica of the Holy Blood, why not treat yourself to some delicious Belgian chocolates or sample a famous Belgian beer?

We start today with a cruise along the Damme Canal to the small town of the same name. We pause in Damme to admire the traditional buildings and enjoy some time for lunch.
Afterwards, we board the boat once more and follow the canal back to Merula Wines for a guided tour of their vineyard, followed by a tasting of three of their wines.
