Relax in the hotel or explore Melrose at your own pace today. Why not visit the ruined Melrose Abbey or one of the nearby gardens?
Alternatively, you may choose to join our optional excursion to Jedburgh. Mary Queen of Scots stayed here in 1566 at a house which now tells the story of her tragic life.
Enjoy time at leisure to explore, take a riverside walk or browse the shops in the colourful buildings in the Market Place. On the outskirts of town is the Jedburgh Woolen Mill, selling many famous brands and Scottish produce such as knitwear, whisky and traditional food, and stocks over 250 tartans.

Today we visit the Scottish capital, Edinburgh. There’s no shortage of attractions in this fantastic city, such as Calton Hill which home to Edinburgh’s most prominent monuments, the National Museum of Scotland and the Scotch Whisky Experience.
Edinburgh Castle is a must-see, with the oldest parts of the complex dating back to the 11th century. Or, why not wander down the famous Royal Mile or Princes Street, do some shopping, or simply admire the architecture in this beautiful city.
