Itinerary

From your local departure point, travel to Hull for an overnight crossing to Zeebrugge.
Disembark the ferry in the morning and travel to the Flanders for a day visiting the Battlefields of the 1st World War. At Tyne Cot Cemetery visit the largest British and Commonwealth cemetery from either world war, and examine the battles for Ypres. At the newly renovated Sanctuary Wood Trench Museum see a system of preserved WWI trenches and then have lunch at Hooge, together with time to see the museum. Opportunity to dine in Ypres before attending the moving Last Post Ceremony, held at 8pm every evening. Your two night stay will be based in the Ypres area.
Today, enjoy visit to the ‘Flower Capital of Belgium’, Ghent is a city of great elegance, boasting a wonderful legacy of medieval architecture and imposing monuments.
One of Europe’s finest preserved medieval cities. Bruges boasts a network of canals, crossed by pretty humpback bridges and winding, cobbled alleyways leading to beautiful squares, lined with magnificent guild houses – a true architectural gem. Late afternoon, travel to Zeebrugge for the overnight ferry crossing back to Hull.
Disembark the ferry in the morning and travel back to your local joining point.
