Armistice Day in Flanders
On this battlefield tour, join one of our specialist battlefield guides as we commemorate Armistice Day in Flanders. On the 11th November we attend commemorative events in the Belgian town of Ypres, including an annual commemoration parade and a special Last Post Ceremony at Menin Gate. We also spend a day visiting the battlefield sites in the area, where over 250,000 British and Commonwealth soldiers fell, such as Tyne Cot, Langemarck German Cemetery and the Hooge Crater Museum.

You will stay for three nights at a minimum 3-star hotel in Belgium or northern France.4BFAHV departures stay in central Ypres at the 3-star Novotel Ypres Centrum, just a few hundred yards from the Menin Gate.
Hotel & Aparthotel Alizé Mouscron
The 4-star Alize Hotel Mouscron is located in the heart of Mouscron. Despite not having its own restaurant, the hotel is ideally located only a short walk from the Mouscron Market Place, where a selection of bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel does have a bar, and all rooms are equipped with a T.V., tea and coffee-making facilities, and a fridge.
