Fly to Málaga where you will be met and transferred to the Mijas area for a one-night stay.

We travel inland to the spectacularly situated village of Ronda, perched high on a ridge over a canyon and connected by three spectacular bridges. Explore old narrow streets with whitewashed houses, and the Plaza de Toros in the Old Town. Continue to Seville for a two-night stay.

Full day in Seville, known as the ‘Queen of Andalucia’. Our optional, half-day guided sightseeing tour will visit the Old Town, see the cathedral, the third largest in the world and the equally imposing Alcazar Royal Palace and gardens which dates from the 12th century. We also walk through the quaint streets of the Jewish quarter, the Barrio Santa Cruz. You’ll have free time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere of this lovely city, with its tapas bars and beautiful parks.

Leaving Seville, we travel to Cordoba, home to the grandest mosque ever built by the Moors in Spain, the Mezquita. It was once the largest city in Europe and its incredible history is represented by the beautifully preserved buildings and squares. We continue to Madrid for a two-night stay.

Free day in Madrid or join our fabulous optional excursion to Segovia, a true Spanish treasure with its old quarter and Roman aqueduct, both of which are World Heritage Sites.

Full day in Madrid with its wealth of cultural attractions. Join our optional sightseeing tour to see the best of the city including the Plaza Mayor, Old Madrid, lined with beautifully muralled buildings, the huge Palacio Real (Royal Palace), a landmark of the city, the Paseo del Prado of Bourbon Madrid and enjoy a stroll around the magnificent Retiro Park. We later head to Toledo for one-night.

Morning in Toledo, regarded as the Spanish city with the greatest wealth of monuments. Behind its walls, Toledo preserves its artistic and cultural legacy in the form of churches, palaces, fortresses, mosques and synagogues, testimony to the three cultures, Arabs, Christians and Jews who lived there for centuries. Continue to Granada for two nights.

Full day in Granada with an optional, guided tour of the vast Alhambra Palace which dominates the skyline with the snowy peaks of the Sierra Nevada mountains in the background. Dating back to the 11th century, it is one of Andalucia’s must-see places.

Your Ferry Crossing – Brittany Ferries

At the start of your holiday we cruise overnight from Portsmouth to Santander on Brittany Ferries’ flagship, the Pont-Aven in 2-berth cabins. This state of the art vessel offers a variety of dining options, numerous stylish bars and lounges, a choice of cinemas and a full programme of on board entertainment, including live music and dancing until the small hours. Spend time perusing the excellent shops, fit enough to grace any High Street, or relax in the sauna or by the fabulous swimming pool and leisure bar area. All 650 cabins have en-suite facilities and air-conditioning.

Your Cruise Ship & Hotel 

You will spend seven nights aboard the MS La Belle de Cadix of the CroisiEurope fleet. The ship is air conditioned and has three decks. Facilities include a restaurant, panorama bar, a large sun deck with deckchairs and boutique. All cabins have shower and toilet, satellite T.V., hairdryer, safe and radio. Cabins are located on three decks. Main deck cabins have portholes, whilst middle and upper deck cabins have full viewing windows. In France and northern Spain you will stay in city-style hotels. 

Drinks included 

During your time aboard the MS La Belle de Cadix, there is a selection of drinks included with on board meals. These include: house wine, beer, mineral water, fruit juice and tea or coffee. The following drinks are at extra cost; all drinks in the lounge/bar, wine selected from the wine list and drinks purchased during on-shore excursions or during transfers.
