Local departure by coach, then to our 5-star hotel in Brussels for a three-night stay.
Included day in Brussels. The city boasts a host of fascinating monuments, buildings and museums, along with countless cafés, restaurants and boutiques. During the festive period the centrepiece of Brussels is the local Christmas market, with its cheerful lights, delicious aromas and a vast number of stalls where you will find all kinds of traditional gifts, including handmade crafts and tasty festive foods including pots of moules (mussels), Belgian frites (fries), delicious Belgian waffles and, of course, Belgium’s world-famous chocolates and beer. Not to be missed is a visit to the Grand Place, one of the most beautiful squares in Europe with its Baroque and Gothic style architecture, decorated in festive lights and garlands. Explore the quaint little backstreets leading off the Grand Place where you will find more inviting eateries along the Rue de Bouchers and stroll to the Galeries Saint Hubert, a glass-roofed arcade full of cafés, shops and theatres.
