Dunkirk 80th Anniversary Group Tour
Operation Dynamo - the Dunkirk evacuation – took place over a number of days in May-June 1940. More than 300,000 British and French soldiers were evacuated for the Dunkirk Mole and beaches. Thousands more stayed behind to defend the perimeter and many were taken prisoner. For the 80th Anniversary period of this important aspect of the Second World War, we will travel to Northern France to remember those who took part: from the soldiers on the beaches to the Little Ships.
