Majestic old towns give way to elegant seaside resorts, as we take a tour of Normandy in France on this delightful short break. See the stylish seaside towns of glamorous Deauville, famous for its casinos and yachts, and Trouville, with its scenic long beach and quaint fishing port. Visit the sights that inspired some of Monet’s most famous work, the picturesque port town of Honfleur and the Notre Dame Cathedral in Rouen. You also have the choice to visit to the fortified town of St. Malo, walk around its city walls and explore the old centre’s cobbled streets, before visiting delightful Dinan, with its half-timbered medieval buildings.
Local departure by coach, then to Caen for a four-night stay.
Deauville, Trouville & Honfleur
Today’s included Normandy excursion first takes us to Deauville and Trouville, both favourite seaside resorts for the Parisians. Deauville is the more glamorous, with its casinos and yachting harbour. Trouville’s charm is its long beach, lined by beautiful buildings and its working fishing port. We then continue to the quaint port town of Honfleur, painted many times by artists, including Claude Monet.
St. Malo & Dinan
Optional excursion to the fortified town of St. Malo, with its huge ramparts and city walls which you can walk around. Explore the old centre and the maze of narrow cobbled streets, and perhaps try one of the famous crêpes. We also visit the pretty medieval town of Dinan with its picturesque half-timbered medieval buildings.
Enjoy our included excursion to Rouen. See Notre Dame Cathedral with its splendid Butter Tower, immortalised in paintings by Claude Monet. Take a stroll to admire the famous Gros Horloge, a huge astronomical clock dating back to the 16th century, and in the centre of the Old Market Square stands the church of St. Joan of Arc, whose design represents the pyre on which Joan perished in 1431.

The hotels facilities include Wi-Fi/Internet access and a bar. All bedrooms feature hairdryer, flat screen T.V, Tea and Coffee making facilities, Wi-Fi/Internet access and en-suite bathroom.
We are unable to guarantee that the hotel will be able to meet your dietary requirements. We find that the majority of European countries do not
generally cater for vegetarians and that the meal supplied may well be what everyone else is having minus the meat.
We will of course endeavour to arrange for a vegetarian meal at the hotel. We do however suggest that you advise us of your dietary requests
at the time of booking and recommend that you speak to the receptionist on arrival with regard to your request.
