This morning we include a guided tour of Ceské Budejovice, better known as Budweis – the city of beer.
The tradition of brewing beer stretches back into the distant past when the Celts inhabited Central Europe and the brewing of beer in Ceské Budejovice dates back to 1265. The original version of the beer 'Budweiser' comes from the town.
This afternoon we offer an optional excursion to the picturesque village of Holašovice, whose rural Baroque buildings have received UNESCO world heritage status

Today we include a visit to Ceský Krumlov, a UNESCO World Heritage Site which lies nestled on the banks of the Vltava River.
The historical, medieval centre and many of the Baroque buildings remain very well-preserved. Join our included guided tour which will introduce you to the sights such as the Old town and Concord Square.
The remainder of the day is at leisure for you to explore at your own pace. We return via a stop in Rozmberk, with entrance to the castle included.

Today we leave Ceské Budejovice and head to Hluboka Castle, a neo-Gothic Tudor castle reminiscent of Windsor castle.
We later make a short stop in Tabor which, thanks to its rich history, architectural monuments and tranquil location, is one of the Czech Republic’s favourite tourist spots.
We then continue to Prague where we stay for three nights.

Today we travel into the centre of Prague where we have an included guided tour to introduce you to this beautiful capital, affectionately known as the ‘Golden Town’.
The many historic buildings, grand squares and elegant landmarks – such as Wenceslas Square, the famous astronomical clock and Charles Bridge – make it a lovely place to explore on foot.
Our local guide's informative commentary will reveal many of the stories behind the buildings and personalities which have shaped the history of this magnificent city.
Visits to the Jewish cemetery, together with St. Nicholas Church, St. Vitus Cathedral and to the Church of our Lady of Victory, are included.
Tonight, we enjoy a folklore evening, with dinner, dancing, music and drinks in a local restaurant.

Today’s included excursion first travels into the centre of Mariánské Lázne for free time.
Also known as Marienbad, the town is considered a pearl of western Bohemia. Surrounded by green forests and boasting around forty natural springs, it has become the second-largest town in the Czech Republic.
Enjoy a stroll around the town, with its wealth of architectural treasures and immaculate gardens.
This afternoon we continue to the popular resort of Karlovy Vary, also known as Carlsbad, where we included a guided sightseeing tour.
The town has twelve main hot thermal springs, which are still in use and you can smell the water as you walk alongside the colonnades.

You will stay for three nights at the 4-star Hotel Clarion Congress in Ceské Budejovice.
You will then stay in Prague at a 4-star hotel, such as the Hotel Royal or Crystal Palace.
