Itinerary
Please choose your preferred 3 day itinerary
Local departure by coach for the journey to Cumbria and onto your hotel for two nights. On the way you will stop at Lake Windermere and the resort of Bowness-on-Windermere.
Your included excursion today sees you exploring the northern Lake District, beginning with a visit to the pretty town of Keswick, sandwiched between Derwent Water and towering Skiddaw. You continue south, through spectacular mountain scenery, past Lake Thirlmere, overlooked by Helvellyn, to Grasmere on the lake of the same name and long a favourite of Wordsworth. You also make a short stop at Rydal, on Rydal Water. You finish the day in Ambleside, at the head of Lake Windermere, where a short walk takes you to the lakeside at Waterhead.
Leave your hotel after breakfast and visit to the historic market town of Kendal. Return to your original Joining Point.
