Travel by coach to Portsmouth for your overnight crossing to Santander. For your comfort, your cabin will have lower beds.

Following disembarkation, travel to the Rioja region for a five-night stay.

Today we drive to the David Moreno Winery, with included entrance and wine tastings. Here you can also enjoy an included traditional Riojan lunch. We then travel to the historical UNESCO World Heritage site of Suso Monastery, with entrance and guide included. This 6th century monastery claims to be the birthplace of the Spanish language.

Enjoy an included visit to an olive oil mill in Viana, where gravity is harnessed to drive the wine-making process, avoiding mechanical methods which might damage the grapes. We then continue to the Baigorri Winery for wine tasting and lunch.

This morning we visit the CVNE winery in the wine district in Haro, where tasting will also be included. The winery was established in 1879 and is still at its original site. For lunch, head off for a tapas tour in the town of Haro, a town rich in gastronomic and wine history. In the afternoon, we make a visit to the Hermanos Frias del Val winery in Villanueva. Here, spend time tasting wines and a selection of local delicacies such as cheese and meat.

Today will be spent visiting a couple of fantastic little wineries. You begin with a visit to El Fabulista winery, located under the Palace of the Samaniegos, where tasting and a lunch is included for you. Afterwards, visit Marqués de Riscal winery, which combines a traditional bodega with a modern boutique hotelm where you can enjoy more wine tastings.

After a little free time, we make our way back to Santander for our overnight ferry sailing to Portsmouth. Again, for your comfort, cabins will have low beds.

Disembark the ferry in Portsmouth and return to your original joining point.
