Fly to Funchal from a local airport and start your holiday to the ‘floating garden’ of Madeira, where you’ll stay for seven nights. It’s from here we enjoy a guided tour of the city, walking through its charming streets taking in the historical surroundings, before indulging in a spot of wine tasting. There are many highlights on this holiday but for us, seeing the beautiful gardens of Monte and the famous Botanical Gardens are a must!
