Experience the amazing Christmas Markets of the Alsace region, from Strasbourg to Mulhouse, there’s festive fun to be had at every turn. See the decorated streets of Strasbourg and the town’s famous giant Christmas tree, enjoy the sights and smells of seasonal treats as you stroll through the Marché de Noël. We then spend time in Colmar, absorb the festive atmosphere as you enjoy the markets set out in the Old Town. Why not join us to Mulhouse, set in the city’s historic centre, the markets are bursting with delicious delights. Before we return home from this magical Christmas market break by coach, we head to Metz, France, where you will have one last opportunity to grab some great gifts.

Local departure by coach, then to northern France for an overnight stay.
Head to the delightful town of Strasbourg, with the opportunity to visit the extensive Christmas markets. See the town’s giant Christmas tree, known as the ‘king of the forests’ and stroll through the Marché de Noël, absorbing the sights and smells of seasonal treats. Continue to our hotel in Klingenthal in the heart of the Alsace for a three-night stay.

Included excursion to Colmar, which is all the more beguiling at this time of year. Explore the Christmas markets in the Old Town, where a procession of decorations lead you to stalls selling a variety of festive goods.

Enjoy an excursion to Mulhouse Christmas Market. With its buzzing atmosphere, the market is set in the historic centre of the city in Place de la Réunion. The stalls are bursting with local cheeses, foie gras, gingerbread, handicrafts and much, much more. Don’t miss the bredele (small cakes).

Accommodation
You will stay for three nights at the 3-star Hotel des Vosges in Klingenthal. Situated only a few miles from the pretty Alsace town of Obernai, the hotel is located in pleasant parkland, ideal for a winter stroll after dinner. The hotel has a restaurant with an excellent reputation for its cuisine.Overnight stays in northern France will be in city-style hotels.
