• Day 1 – Local departure by coach then to northern France for an overnight stay.
• Day 2 – Continue to Diano Marina, Italy for a four night stay. B,D
• Day 3 – Nice and Èze (included). Our included excursion begins in the spectacular medieval hillside village of Èze, perched high above the Med, with stunning views. Here we tour the famous Fragonard Perfumerie Factory. Next we visit the coastal city of Nice with its famous Promenade des Anglais which sweeps along the Mediterranean. Behind it lies the picturesque old town with its narrow streets and alleys where you’ll find shopping bargains and small cafés. B,L,D
• Day 4 – St. Paul de Vence and Cannes (included). Today’s included excursion takes us a few miles inland to the charming hillside village of St. Paul de Vence, a beautiful, fortified medieval village. Wander the cobblestoned streets, admire the paintings, craft shops and boutiques and soak up the atmosphere of a village dating back to the 1500s. We end the day in Cannes, home of the famous film festival. Take a stroll along the treelined Boulevard de la Croisette with hotels, designer boutiques and gardens on one side and glorious beaches on the other. B,L,D
• Day 5 – Monaco and Monte Carlo (optional). Optional visit to the world’s smallest sovereign state of Monaco and glitzy Monte Carlo. If you feel lucky, take a chance in the Grand Casino with its lavish interiors decorated in the striking Belle Epoque style. B,L,D
• Day 6 – To northern France for an overnight stay. B
• Day 7 – To Calais then return home. B

• Day 3 – Nice and Èze (included). Full-day included excursion. This area is famous for its perfumes, and we start with a tour of the Fragonard Perfume Factory in Èze. Also enjoy the stunning views from this medieval village perched high above the Med. Next we visit the coastal city of Nice with its famous Promenade des Anglais which fronts the city, sweeping along the Mediterranean. Behind it lies the picturesque old town, with its narrow streets and alleys where you’ll find many shops and small cafés. B,L,D
• Day 4 – Free time. A day to relax in resort. B,L,D
• Day 5 – Santa Margherita and Portofino or Alassio (optional). We offer an optional excursion to Santa Margherita, with its attractive promenade in front of the marina, then weather permitting, take a boat to Portofino, the picturesque village whose pretty harbour, with a galaxy of designer shops, draws in the rich and famous to relax. Take time to soak up the atmosphere in this heavenly spot. If the weather prevents us from visiting Portofino then instead we visit the beautiful resort of Alassio with its splendid sandy beaches stretching out over 3 km.
