Your Holiday Itinerary
16-Day Break
- Day 1 – To Belgium for an overnight stay.
- Day 2 – Via Möhne Dam of Dambusters fame to Berlin for an overnight stay. Berlin Evening Sightseeing (optional). An evening sightseeing tour takes in all the major sights in Berlin’s historical centre, including the Berlin Cathedral, Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall. B
- Day 3 – To Warsaw, Poland, for a 2-night stay. B,D
- Day 4 – Warsaw. Warsaw including Sightseeing Tour (included). Almost obliterated from the map during the Second World War, then remarkably rebuilt in only 13 years, Poland’s pretty capital is an absolute gem. Our guided sightseeing tour with local English-speaking guide takes in the famous sights and the monuments at the heart of this robust nation. B,D
- Day 5 – To Vilnius, Lithuania, for a 2-night stay. B,D
- Day 6 – Vilnius. Vilnius including Sightseeing Tour (included). Our local guide meets us and we take a walking tour through this cosmopolitan city with its diverse architecture. The Old Town area is one of the largest in Europe and was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994. The buildings and monuments have been built over many centuries and there are examples of architecture from various styles and eras. Trakai Castle (optional). In the afternoon we can enjoy an optional tour to the island castle of Trakai, formerly a major political and administrative centre in Lithuania, which has been restored during the 20th century and now houses the Trakai History Museum. - Day 7 – To Riga, Latvia, for a 2-night stay. B,D
- Day 8 – Riga. Riga with Sightseeing Tour (included). Once known as the “small Paris”, the city of Riga is a delightful mixture of medieval ambience and a modern cosmopolitan metropolis. Our included guided walking tour reveals the many sights. B,D
- Day 9 – To Tallinn, Estonia, for a 3-night stay. B,D
- Day 10 – Tallinn. Tallinn with Sightseeing Tour (included). Our local guide meets us for our included half-day walking tour to see the major sights, including the Town Hall, one of the oldest in Europe, St. Nicholas Church, Toompea Palace and the old city walls. Afternoon at leisure to sightsee independently. B,D
- Day 11 – Day at leisure or Laheemaa National Park. Laheemaa National Park (optional). Spend the day in Tallinn or why not join an optional excursion accompanied by a local guide to the Laheemaa National Park? The park was opened in 1971 and was the first National Park in the Soviet Union. It is located in the Northern Estonian region and was opened to preserve the landscape and national heritage. B,D
- Day 12 – By ferry to Helsinki, then overnight ferry to Stockholm, Sweden. Helsinki (included). After arriving from Tallinn and before departing to Stockholm you will have some free time to enjoy Finland’s capital city. B
- Day 13 – Arrive Stockholm then travel to Copenhagen, Denmark. B,D
- Day 14 – Copenhagen. Copenhagen Sightseeing (included). With our Danish guide we will see the main sights of this “wonderful” city, including the statue of the Little Mermaid, the Royal Theatre and Christiansborg Castle. Afternoon at leisure. Tivoli Gardens (optional). In the evening, enjoy the superb Tivoli Gardens by night, a great way to end your circular tour of the Baltic Capitals. B,D
- Day 15 – Ferry to Germany then to Belgium for an overnight stay. B
- Day 16 – To Calais then return home.
