Your Holiday Itinerary

10-Day Break

• Day 1 – Andernach. We travel by coach to Andernach to join our cruise ship. LS
• Day 2 – Rüdesheim. We cruise along the Rhine, past Koblenz to Rüdesheim. Enjoy an optional chair lift ride up to the Niederwald Monument. B,L,D
• Day 3 – Gemersheim We continue our cruise, passing through Mainz to Gemersheim, near Speyer. B,L,D
• Day 4 – Strasbourg. We cruise south into France and on to Strasbourg, arriving mid-afternoon. Join our optional glass-topped canal cruise. B,L,D
• Day 5 – Breisach and Basle. We continue to Breisach, with an optional 'winetasting and Alsace' tour, visiting Riquewihr. We sail onto Basle in northern Switzerland. B,L,D
• Day 6 – Lucerne. An included full-day excursion by coach to Lucerne (with packed lunch included). B,L,D
• Day 7 – Black Forest We enjoy an included morning excursion to the Black Forest, visiting Titisee, then rejoin our ship in Breisach and continue to Kehl. B,L,D
• Day 8 – Heidelberg. We cruise to Mannheim, from where you can join an optional excursion to Heidelberg. B,L,D
• Day 9 – Cologne. We cruise to Cologne, where we have a free afternoon in the city, with a final farewell 'Captain's Dinner' and live musical entertainment in the evening. B,L,D
• Day 10 – We return to the U.K. B

7-Day Break

• Day 1 – Cologne To Cologne to join our cruise ship for a five-night stay. LS
• Day 2 – Cologne to Andernach Begin our cruise upstream to the quintessential Rhine town of Andernach. Spend time exploring the town or relaxing by the river. B,L,D
• Day 3 – Andernach to Cochem Today, we cruise upstream to the city of Koblenz, where we join the Moselle River - a more tranquil river valley in contrast to the vibrant Rhine. Later, we arrive in Cochem.B,L,D
• Day 4 – Cochem to Rüdesheim A day of fabulous scenery as we cruise to Koblenz, at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle. Continue through the Rhine Gorge, passing hilltop castles, picturesque towns and vine-clad slopes. We also see the famous Loreley Rock before arriving in the ever popular town of Rüdesheim, where we berth for the night. After dinner, why not join our optional sightseeing tour by little road train, including a visit to Siegfried’s Mechanical Music Museum.B,L,D
• Day 5 – Rüdesheim to Cologne We cruise downstream past Koblenz, Bonn and the town of Königswinter. Later, we continue to Cologne for our evening farewell dinner and party on board. B,L,D
• Day 6 – Valkenburg Disembark and head to Belgium for an overnight stay, with a visit to the charming Dutch town of Valkenburg en route. B
• Day 7 – We return to Calais and then head home. B

PLEASE NOTE: A packed lunch will be provided during land excursions. Also, at some ports of call, a degree of walking will be involved to join our coach. Due to limited docking facilities, it may be necessary to dock alongside another ship, to gain access to the shore.
