Day 1

Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to the Paris area for an overnight stay.

On coach holidays of 7 days’ duration or more and Single Traveller coach holidays, you don’t even have to think about getting to your local joining point.

If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining point, we’ll pick you up from your home and take you to meet your transfer coach, then return you back home at the end of your holiday. On European coach holidays of 7 days' or more, the cost of this is just £30 per booking each way (Up to 4 people per booking).

If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge

Day 2

To Calella, on the Costa del Maresme, for a six-night stay.

Day 3 - Costa Brava Coastal Tour

Explore the coast on an included excursion visiting Tossa de Mar, a typical Catalan coastal town with narrow cobbled streets, medieval walls, a 14th-century church and plenty of bars. Then it’s on to Lloret de Mar, the liveliest resort on the Costa Brava and finally, historic Blanes, once famous for its lace-making.

Day 4 - Barcelona

Included full-day excursion to Barcelona. Enjoy the delightful atmosphere, particularly along Las Ramblas. Our optional, guided Barcelona sightseeing tour takes in many of the city’s sights, such as the impressive 1992 Olympic Stadium and the bustling Las Ramblas, with free time to explore the bars, cafés and shops.

Day 5 - Girona and Besalu

Included visit to Girona. Behind its charming colourful houses lining the River Onyar lies the Old Town, with its imposing Gothic cathedral, maze of narrow streets and ‘Rambla de la Libertat’. We then make our way to the medieval town of Besalu.

Day 6 - Catalan Country Tour

Optional excursion to the cool of the wooded hills with a local guide. Discover the charms of the local area and enjoy a delicious Catalan lunch before returning to the coast.

Day 7 - Montserrat

Optional excursion to the 9th century Benedictine monastery. Spectacularly situated, its beautiful Basilica and turbulent history make this a fascinating place to visit.

We head to the Auvergne in France, where we stay for two nights.

Day 10 - Villages of the Auvergne

The Auvergne is home to no less than eleven of the 150 villages ranked as ‘the most beautiful villages of France’. On this superb included excursion we see four of these, all teeming with heritage, history and stunning architecture. This really is the true Auvergne, a land where time seems to have stood still. Medieval and Romanesque churches and buildings create a most memorable picture. We visit Montpeyroux, a former wine-growing village, one of the real highlights of the Auvergne; Usson, with its magnificent views over the volcanic hills; St. Saturnin with its 13th century castle; and St. Floret, with its medieval buildings, situated in a narrow valley.

Day 11 - Paris by Night

Leisurely journey to the Paris area for an overnight stay. Tonight, you can join our optional tour to see this spectacular city at night.

Return home.

FAQ's about our tours

Certain excursions are included in the price of your holiday. If you choose not to go on an included excursion, for whatever reason, no refunds will be made.
Yes, you will receive one with your Travel Documents, which are sent 7-10 days before departure.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian aged over 18 years old.

We do have holidays that are suitable for wheelchair users, however the person using the wheelchair will need to be able to get on and off the coach if a coach tour is booked. Our coaches are not suitable for someone who is wheelchair reliant as we can only take folding wheelchairs that are stored in the luggage compartment.

We cannot guarantee that assistance will be available for the disabled person / wheelchair user and such bookings will only be accepted if that person is travelling with an able-bodied person who is fully able to attend to the needs of his/her co-traveller.

Passengers travelling by Eurostar in standard class seats must be able to walk 200 yards (183 metres) unaided. Please note; only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted on board standard class Eurostar coaches, as these must be stored in the luggage storage areas. Any passengers who are wheelchair reliant are required to be allocated in the 'Standard Premier' coaches where wheelchair user spaces are located. As these spaces are limited to 1 per train you must advise us immediately if you require them in order that we can reserve with Eurostar.

Excursions on our tours visit places of interest and public buildings. These may not be able to accommodate people with walking difficulties and wheelchair access may not be available. Excursions which include sightseeing tours may involve walking long distances and sometimes over cobbled or uneven surfaces.

The accommodation we use on our tours may not have ground floor rooms and in some instances lifts will not always be available. Occasionally access to your hotel may involve walking distances from the coach park and some hotels have a flight of steps to the Reception.

It is very important that checks are made with regard to the suitability of a tour for you prior to you make any booking with us.
