Day 1

Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service, then to Belgium for an overnight stay.

On coach holidays of 7 days’ duration or more and Single Traveller coach holidays, you don’t even have to think about getting to your local joining point.

If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining point, we’ll pick you up from your home and take you to meet your transfer coach, then return you back home at the end of your holiday. On European coach holidays of 7 days' or more, the cost of this is just £30 per booking each way (Up to 4 people per booking).

If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge

Day 2 - Prague

Head through Germany to the Czech Republic capital of Prague, where we board our cruise ship for seven nights.

Day 3 - Prague to Melnik

This morning you can join our included city tour to see the highlights and attractions Prague has to offer. In the early afternoon, we set sail along the River Vltava and cruise to Melnik in the Czech Republic, on the confluence of the Elbe and Vltava, where we berth overnight.

Day 4 - Melnik to Bad Schandau

Today we join the River Elbe and enjoy a full day cruising, taking in wonderful scenery as we head towards our overnight stop in the attractive German spa resort of Bad Schandau.

Day 5 - Bad Schandau to Dresden

Our cruise route takes us through the breathtaking landscape of Saxon Switzerland. We reach Dresden in the early afternoon, where you can take an optional city tour to see the highlights of this fascinating place.

Day 6 - Dresden to Meissen

Enjoy some free time in Dresden before we cruise to Meissen, where you can spend time exploring the city. It is chiefly famed for its production of fine porcelain which you can learn about on our included visit to the House of Meissen.

Day 7 - Meissen to Wittenberg

Early this morning we set sail for the old university town of Wittenberg, home to the most important and interesting Reformation museum in Germany – The Luther House. Enjoy free time or take advantage of the optional excursion to follow in the footsteps of Martin Luther and see the town’s historic landmarks.

Day 8 - Wittenberg to Magdeburg

Another early sailing takes us to Magdeburg, a cosmopolitan city with a rich and colourful past. Join our optional city tour and see the many beautiful sights and attractions.

Day 9 - Magdeburg to Berlin

We disembark our ship this morning and travel to the outskirts of Berlin for a two-night stay.

Day 10 - Berlin

Included excursion to the cosmopolitan capital of Berlin. To make the most of your day in Berlin, join our optional, guided sightseeing tour.

Day 11 - Celle

We visit the pretty town of Celle, home to over 400 half-timbered buildings, then continue to Hannover for two nights.

Day 12 - Goslar and Harz Mountains

A full-day, included tour of the picturesque Harz Mountains. We head first to the former Imperial city of Goslar, then enjoy a scenic drive and discover some of the hidden treasures of the Harz region, including the delightful town of Wernigerode.

Travel to Belgium for an overnight stay.

Prices are per person, based on two sharing a main deck cabin. No single cabin/rooms available.

A reduction of £100pp is available for one three-berth cabin. If you book this option a single room can be booked for the hotel stays at a supplement of £175.

FAQ's about our tours

Certain excursions are included in the price of your holiday. If you choose not to go on an included excursion, for whatever reason, no refunds will be made.
Yes, you will receive one with your Travel Documents, which are sent 7-10 days before departure.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian aged over 18 years old.

We do have holidays that are suitable for wheelchair users, however the person using the wheelchair will need to be able to get on and off the coach if a coach tour is booked. Our coaches are not suitable for someone who is wheelchair reliant as we can only take folding wheelchairs that are stored in the luggage compartment.

We cannot guarantee that assistance will be available for the disabled person / wheelchair user and such bookings will only be accepted if that person is travelling with an able-bodied person who is fully able to attend to the needs of his/her co-traveller.

Passengers travelling by Eurostar in standard class seats must be able to walk 200 yards (183 metres) unaided. Please note; only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted on board standard class Eurostar coaches, as these must be stored in the luggage storage areas. Any passengers who are wheelchair reliant are required to be allocated in the 'Standard Premier' coaches where wheelchair user spaces are located. As these spaces are limited to 1 per train you must advise us immediately if you require them in order that we can reserve with Eurostar.

Excursions on our tours visit places of interest and public buildings. These may not be able to accommodate people with walking difficulties and wheelchair access may not be available. Excursions which include sightseeing tours may involve walking long distances and sometimes over cobbled or uneven surfaces.

The accommodation we use on our tours may not have ground floor rooms and in some instances lifts will not always be available. Occasionally access to your hotel may involve walking distances from the coach park and some hotels have a flight of steps to the Reception.

It is very important that checks are made with regard to the suitability of a tour for you prior to you make any booking with us.
