Visit: Florence, Italy

Enjoy the incredible experience of Andrea Bocelli performing in his own town of Lajatico. The amazing outdoor ‘Theatre Of Silence’ in the heart of the beautiful Tuscan countryside provides the perfect venue. Together with a fascinating itinerary, designed for you to see and taste the best of Tuscany, this tour is sure to prove very popular.

The Italian tenor, Andrea Bocelli, became famous all over the world because he managed to open the opera experience to the masses, using his unique style and merging light music together with his tenor skills. His live performances have won over millions of people with 'Time To Say Goodbye' being his most famous song. In 2010 his name was included into the Walk of Fame in Hollywood. In 2006 he initiated an innovative project uniting art, culture and territory by the construction of an open air amphitheatre in the heart of the Tuscan hills near Lajatico, his hometown in the province of Pisa. The theatre hosts a single concert by Bocelli once in summer, while remaining silent the rest of the year (hence the name Teatro del Silizio – Theatre of Silence). A sculpture in the form of a human face is located in the centre of the structure. It was designed by the Polish sculptor Igor Mitoraj for the performance of the opera Manon Lescaut and left to the theatre foundation later. The stage, as well as the platforms for the audience, are completely dismantled when they are not used and the theatre gets back to its natural silent state, turning into an artificial lake. Bocelli’s concert is an extraordinary way to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside, surrounded by enchanting hills while listening to his music and voice.
