Breathtaking views abound on our included excursion as we tour this bygone haunt of smugglers. Later, you may wish to take an optional boat trip from Glengarriff to magnificent Garnish Island, Ireland’s most outstanding garden island, with its famous collection of plants and Italian landscaping.
See dramatic scenery and the picturesque fishing villages of the Ring of Kerry on our included excursion. Later, in Killarney, take an optional ride on the jaunting cars (pony and trap rides) and enjoy the infectious humour of the families who have run them for generations.
We travel back across Ireland to the Dublin area for an overnight stay. Join an optional sightseeing tour of the capital which will take in the major sights and splendid architecture, such as Trinity College, the Four Courts, the National Gallery and, of course, St. Patrick’s Cathedral.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will
consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or
guardian aged over 18 years old.
You will stay for three nights at the 3-star superior Celtic Ross Hotel in Rosscarbery, near Clonakilty, superbly situated, overlooking Rosscarbery Bay and Galley Head. Relax with a drink in the bar before enjoying dinner in the restaurant. The hotel has an indoor pool, sauna and steam room.
Overnight stays in Carlow and the Dublin area are in 3-star hotels.
The 3-star Celtic Ross is a family owned hotel, picturesquely set right on the West Cork coastline on the Wild Atlantic Way, with the historic Cathedral Town of Rosscarbery on its doorstep. A superb location, unspoilt beaches, locally sourced food and excellent service, all combine to create a memorable stay. The hotel has 66 rooms, some of which have sea views or lagoon views boasting amazing sun sets over the Bay. The Kingfisher Bar Bistro, is the ideal place to relax. Alternatively enjoy a dip in the indoor swimming pool with sauna and steam room.
We are unable to guarantee that the hotel will be able to meet your dietary requirements. We find that the majority of European countries do not
generally cater for vegetarians and that the meal supplied may well be what everyone else is having minus the meat.
We will of course endeavour to arrange for a vegetarian meal at the hotel. We do however suggest that you advise us of your dietary requests
at the time of booking and recommend that you speak to the receptionist on arrival with regard to your request.
