Day 1

Fly to Los Angeles where you will be transferred to your hotel for a two-night stay.

Day 2 - San Diego

Optional visit to the delightful city of San Diego with its famous Old Town, marina and historic Gas Lamp Quarter.

Day 3 - Palm Springs

Journey through Palm Springs today - a winter playground for Hollywood stars, then onwards to Scottsdale for an overnight stay.

Day 4 - Grand Canyon National Park

Enjoy one of the highlights of our tour today, as we head to the incredible Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. We stay overnight in the Grand Canyon area.

Day 5 - Monument Valley & Page/Lake Powell

Our journey today takes us through the Monument Valley Navajo Indian Reservation. In the afternoon, we arrive in the town of Page, situated on a mesa above the Colorado River, where we stay overnight.

Day 6 - Bryce Canyon National Park

Fabulous views await today as we continue our journey into the Mormon state of Utah, passing through Kanab before entering the awe-inspiring Bryce Canyon and its world of multi-coloured sandstone spires and pinnacles. We stay overnight in the Bryce Canyon area.

Day 7 - Zion National Park & Las Vegas

Today we travel to Zion National Park and take in the views of the massive rock formations carved by time, wind and the elements. In the evening, you will be greeted by the bright lights of Las Vegas, our base for the next two nights.

Day 8 - Free Time in Las Vegas

Day 9 - Death Valley & Mammoth Lakes

We leave Las Vegas and embark on a sharp contrast to the glitz and glamour of the city with a visit to Death Valley. We ascend the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort of Mammoth Lakes for an overnight stay. Please note if Tiago Pass is closed, the overnight in Mammoth Lakes will not be possible and the tour will overnight in Visalia/Fresno instead.

Day 10 - Yosemite National Park Gateway

Today takes us into the scenic wonderland of the Yosemite National Park. Take in the splendid glacial-shaped granite formations of El Captain, Half Dome and the beautiful Bridal Falls. We stay overnight in the Modesto area.

Day 11 - San Francisco

Depart early this morning and head to the amazing city of San Francisco, where we stay for two nights.

Day 12 - San Francisco

Enjoy a full day in San Francisco. Our optional sightseeing tour takes in the Golden Gate Bridge and many of the other famous sights.

Day 13 - Monterey/Carmel to Shell/Pismo Beach

Depart San Francisco and visit Monterey, with its lovely waterfront and historic Cannery Row. We travel along 17 Mile Drive where you can enjoy stunning coastal views. We continue along the Pacific Coast Highway to the Pismo Beach area for an overnight stay.

Day 14 - Los Angeles

We head back to Los Angeles via Malibu and Beverley Hills - maybe you will spot a film star! We stay overnight near the airport.

Transfer to Los Angeles airport for the overnight return flight.

Arrival in the U.K.

FAQ's about our tours

Certain excursions are included in the price of your holiday. If you choose not to go on an included excursion, for whatever reason, no refunds will be made.
Yes, you will receive one with your Travel Documents, which are sent 7-10 days before departure.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian aged over 18 years old.

We do have holidays that are suitable for wheelchair users, however the person using the wheelchair will need to be able to get on and off the coach if a coach tour is booked. Our coaches are not suitable for someone who is wheelchair reliant as we can only take folding wheelchairs that are stored in the luggage compartment.

We cannot guarantee that assistance will be available for the disabled person / wheelchair user and such bookings will only be accepted if that person is travelling with an able-bodied person who is fully able to attend to the needs of his/her co-traveller.

Passengers travelling by Eurostar in standard class seats must be able to walk 200 yards (183 metres) unaided. Please note; only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted on board standard class Eurostar coaches, as these must be stored in the luggage storage areas. Any passengers who are wheelchair reliant are required to be allocated in the 'Standard Premier' coaches where wheelchair user spaces are located. As these spaces are limited to 1 per train you must advise us immediately if you require them in order that we can reserve with Eurostar.

Excursions on our tours visit places of interest and public buildings. These may not be able to accommodate people with walking difficulties and wheelchair access may not be available. Excursions which include sightseeing tours may involve walking long distances and sometimes over cobbled or uneven surfaces.

The accommodation we use on our tours may not have ground floor rooms and in some instances lifts will not always be available. Occasionally access to your hotel may involve walking distances from the coach park and some hotels have a flight of steps to the Reception.

It is very important that checks are made with regard to the suitability of a tour for you prior to you make any booking with us.
