Fabulous views await today as we continue our journey into the Mormon state of Utah, passing through Kanab before entering the awe-inspiring Bryce Canyon and its world of multi-coloured sandstone spires and pinnacles. We stay overnight in the Bryce Canyon area.
Today we travel to Zion National Park and take in the views of the massive rock formations carved by time, wind and the elements. In the evening, you will be greeted by the bright lights of Las Vegas, our base for the next two nights.
We leave Las Vegas and embark on a sharp contrast to the glitz and glamour of the city with a visit to Death Valley. We ascend the Sierra Nevada Mountains to the alpine resort of Mammoth Lakes for an overnight stay. Please note if Tiago Pass is closed, the overnight in Mammoth Lakes will not be possible and the tour will overnight in Visalia/Fresno instead.
Today takes us into the scenic wonderland of the Yosemite National Park. Take in the splendid glacial-shaped granite formations of El Captain, Half Dome and the beautiful Bridal Falls. We stay overnight in the Modesto area.
Depart San Francisco and visit Monterey, with its lovely waterfront and historic Cannery Row. We travel along 17 Mile Drive where you can enjoy stunning coastal views. We continue along the Pacific Coast Highway to the Pismo Beach area for an overnight stay.
Extras: optional excursions; single room supplement £595; travel insurance from £70; visa/ESTA application fees; all meals; admissions and gratuities except those mentioned; regional connection flight supplements will apply; Heathrow flight supplements may apply depending on availability.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will
consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or
guardian aged over 18 years old.
We are unable to guarantee that the hotel will be able to meet your dietary requirements. We find that the majority of European countries do not
generally cater for vegetarians and that the meal supplied may well be what everyone else is having minus the meat.
We will of course endeavour to arrange for a vegetarian meal at the hotel. We do however suggest that you advise us of your dietary requests
at the time of booking and recommend that you speak to the receptionist on arrival with regard to your request.
