Day 1

Local departure by coach or Door-to-Door service then to the Paris area for an overnight stay.

On coach holidays of 7 days’ duration or more and Single Traveller coach holidays, you don’t even have to think about getting to your local joining point.

If you live within 20 miles of one of our free joining point, we’ll pick you up from your home and take you to meet your transfer coach, then return you back home at the end of your holiday. On European coach holidays of 7 days' or more, the cost of this is just £30 per booking each way (Up to 4 people per booking).

If you live a little further afield, you can also take advantage of this convenient option for an additional charge

Day 2 - Oradour-sur Glane

We head to the Remembrance village of Oradour-sur Glane, which has been left as untouched, since the German SS massacre of around 600 inhabitants in WWII. A stroll around the empty streets of this silent monument is a very moving experience. We continue to Rocamadour for a four-night stay.

Day 3 - Rocamadour & Gouffre de Padirac

This morning we include a guided tour of medieval Rocamadour, discovering many of its delights, including the monastery and castle. In the afternoon we visit Gouffre de Padirac, a spectacular cave complex within the limestone plateau of the Causse de Gramat. We descend underground by lift and later enjoy a short boat trip on the river.

Day 4 - The Lot Valley

Join our optional full day excursion around the Lot Valley. We first visit Cahors, which is situated on a loop of the Lot River. The town’s long and sometimes turbulent past, is best represented in its architecture, with Gallic, Roman, Moorish and English influences. Explore the old town with its ancient quarters and cobbled streets, and see the medieval Pont Valentre which spans the River Lot. We continue to the beautiful village of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, with its commanding position above the Lot Valley. A member of ‘Les Plus Beaux Villages de France’, the stone and half-timbered houses tumble over the cliff side. Head up the steep path to where the town’s château once stood for wonderful views over the river valley.

Day 5 - Sarlat & Beynac et Cazenac

Included full day excursion, exploring more of the Dordogne. We start with a visit to Sarlat, one of the most beautiful towns in the region. Explore the maze of narrow lanes and winding medieval cobbled streets, which remain virtually unchanged since the Middle Ages. We continue to the town of Beynac, whose castle is one of the finest in France, and Beynac is a favoured haunt for artists.

Day 6 - Martel

We leave Rocamadour and head to the 12th century medieval town of Martel, with its seven towers. Continue to our overnight hotel on the outskirts of Paris.

Return home.

FAQ's about our tours

Certain excursions are included in the price of your holiday. If you choose not to go on an included excursion, for whatever reason, no refunds will be made.
Yes, you will receive one with your Travel Documents, which are sent 7-10 days before departure.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or guardian aged over 18 years old.

We do have holidays that are suitable for wheelchair users, however the person using the wheelchair will need to be able to get on and off the coach if a coach tour is booked. Our coaches are not suitable for someone who is wheelchair reliant as we can only take folding wheelchairs that are stored in the luggage compartment.

We cannot guarantee that assistance will be available for the disabled person / wheelchair user and such bookings will only be accepted if that person is travelling with an able-bodied person who is fully able to attend to the needs of his/her co-traveller.

Passengers travelling by Eurostar in standard class seats must be able to walk 200 yards (183 metres) unaided. Please note; only collapsible wheelchairs are permitted on board standard class Eurostar coaches, as these must be stored in the luggage storage areas. Any passengers who are wheelchair reliant are required to be allocated in the 'Standard Premier' coaches where wheelchair user spaces are located. As these spaces are limited to 1 per train you must advise us immediately if you require them in order that we can reserve with Eurostar.

Excursions on our tours visit places of interest and public buildings. These may not be able to accommodate people with walking difficulties and wheelchair access may not be available. Excursions which include sightseeing tours may involve walking long distances and sometimes over cobbled or uneven surfaces.

The accommodation we use on our tours may not have ground floor rooms and in some instances lifts will not always be available. Occasionally access to your hotel may involve walking distances from the coach park and some hotels have a flight of steps to the Reception.

It is very important that checks are made with regard to the suitability of a tour for you prior to you make any booking with us.
