This tour covered several beautiful and interesting towns and villages, travelling in comfort, with friendly and professional drivers and a pleasant group of fellow holiday makers. Some people on the tour were critical of the hotel, which seemed in some need of refurbishment, but my room was clean and comfortable, well serviced, and I enjoyed the food.

The tour was lovely, as were the drivers and luxuria coach. The hotel Des Vosges was awful and needs a total refurbishment. Everyone had the same opinion except one lady who had worse in Italy and one couple who had worse in Austria. We were disgusted and it has put us off travelling with Leger again. Too many faults to carry on but I'm sure others will fill you in. It was not a cheap holiday and we had to just eat what we were given at dinner, no choice. One night I had shards of crockery in my starter, another night cold beans and half a potato rosti, when others had whole one and another time we had just one drumstick of chicken with veg. We have paid £900 less to go to Corfu next month all Inc in a five star hotel with excellent reviews. This means cost should not have been the issue. Do Leger check the hotels they use? The whole place is not suitable as hairdryers were melted, showers mouldy, chairs dirty, no air con, electric sockets hanging off the walls, etc etc. Also, the breakfast was poor. All basic, dry cheap produce. Fruit salad was brown as mostly apple. Young lad was on his own mainly trying to keep everything up together. We had a wine with our first meal and a farewell cocktail on the last night. We all had a good laugh on this holiday however. I'm convinced prisoners get better, nothing to feel proud about in staying there. I will remember this hotel for all the wrong reasons and would never want to return or recommend. On a good note, the tour went smoothly. The Alsace region was lovely!

Fantastic coach and lovely drivers, Ricky and Keiran. Public areas in the hotel were good but, oh dear, the bedrooms were awful. Ours had spotlights over the bed hanging off, no plug in the sink, peeling paint in the bathroom and a hair dryer that only worked when you put on the light. This is the first time in over 40 years of holidaying where there was no choice of food at dinner. You had to eat what you were given. Some of the meals were ok and some were appalling. I complained to the waiter one evening and after that I was always served last having to wait until everyone else had almost finished their meal before I got mine. I am sorry to say I will not be booking another holiday with Leger if this is the standard of their hotels.

Excellent trip. Lots of interest with beautiful villages and cathedrals to explore. Hotel was attractively situated at the foot of the Vosges and staff were always helpful. Above all our drivers, Richard and Marcus couldn't have done more to make the trip a success, including two additional visits on top of the prescribed itinerary.

A great experience and the bus team were brill, keeping us all entertained. We had sufficient breaks for our travel towards the Alsace area. The only slight let down was the main stay hotel, with no a/c, Wifi, phone or main room light, and location, and we where in the hot roof, up 4 stairs, but good exercise. It was my first trip and survived, for a 72 years old
