We include a full-day excursion to Chamonix. The resort is around 3,500 feet above sea level and sits astride the River Arve, which rises in Mont Blanc’s largest glacier, the Mer de Glace. The great glacier may be visited by taking the mountain railway (at additional cost), a delightfully scenic ride. Also, take the chance to ride the highest cable car system in the world to the top of Mount Midi (12,600 feet) for spectacular Alpine views.
Free day or join an optional excursion to Geneva. The city has a fine selection of buildings, many parks and gardens, stylish shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants and is set alongside Lake Geneva, where you can take delightful waterside walks.
The Alpine extravaganza continues today with an included excursion to Annecy, situated on the lake of the same name. Capital of the Haute Savoie, Annecy is a most beautiful town and is dominated by its castle, which was built over the course of four centuries. As well as a picturesque lakeside promenade, you can wander through the quaint old town, which has arcaded streets criss-crossed by canals.

We are unable to guarantee that the hotel will be able to meet your dietary requirements. We find that the majority of European countries do not
generally cater for vegetarians and that the meal supplied may well be what everyone else is having minus the meat.
We will of course endeavour to arrange for a vegetarian meal at the hotel. We do however suggest that you advise us of your dietary requests
at the time of booking and recommend that you speak to the receptionist on arrival with regard to your request.
"For a while we miss the excitement of touring and visiting previously unseen places and also the camaraderie of like-minded Leger explorers. There’s no doubt that as soon as they've unpacked, they'll be starting to plan their next Leger tour"
