Today’s included excursion takes us across the German border, into Bavaria, to the village of Hohenschwangau and King Ludwig II’s famous Neuschwanstein Castle. Here we visit inside the castle on a guided tour (entrance included). We also visit the delightful, walled town of Füssen, where you can spend some free time and perhaps explore the maze of narrow lanes, or simply relax in a terrace café in the main square.
Optional excursion, firstly to Liechtenstein’s capital, Vaduz for a short visit, then to the Swiss town of Chur which boasts a beautiful old town. From here we join the fabulous Arosa train for a spectacular ride to the mountain resort of Arosa, where you can enjoy a wander around this typical Swiss resort and take in the fabulous views. In order to guarantee your place on the train, this trip must be purchased at the time of booking at a cost of £36 per person.
Join our included excursion into Switzerland. We head first to the picturesque old town of St. Gallen. Spend time exploring the narrow streets, which play host to myriad delights including the magnificent cathedral and unique Abbey Library which houses a priceless collection of manuscripts. We continue into Germany to the beautiful lakeside city of Konstanz. Explore the old town of Konstanz where much has remained unchanged since the Middle Ages.
We believe that our holidays may not be suitable for children under 8 years old (except for Disneyland Paris bookings) however, we will
consider individual requests on application. Customers aged 18 and under at the time of travel must be accompanied by an adult, parent or
guardian aged over 18 years old.
You will stay for four nights at the 4-star Central Lowen Hotel in Feldkirch. The hotel is situated in the heart of Feldkirch's historic Old Town, close to Schattenburg Castle. The hotel has a bar and restaurant.
Overnight stays in Belgium are in city-style hotels.
We are unable to guarantee that the hotel will be able to meet your dietary requirements. We find that the majority of European countries do not
generally cater for vegetarians and that the meal supplied may well be what everyone else is having minus the meat.
We will of course endeavour to arrange for a vegetarian meal at the hotel. We do however suggest that you advise us of your dietary requests
at the time of booking and recommend that you speak to the receptionist on arrival with regard to your request.
