We begin the day with a prosecco welcome breakfast, before visiting the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck.
Nestled at the foot of the spectacular Northern Chain Mountains, our included city tour will show you the highlights of this charming Alpine city, including the Hofburg, the former Imperial residence, and the historic Old Town, home to the beautiful Golden Roof.
We continue with an included trip on board the city’s Nordkettenbahnen where you will be transported from the bustle of the city centre, high into the mountain terrain.
We travel up to the Hungerburg mountain station where you can enjoy a breathtaking view over Innsbruck, where the panorama is cloud free for an average of 350 days a year!
We then take the cable car further up the mountain to the Seegrube restaurant, located at an altitude of 1905 metres above sea level. Here we have an included Wiener Schnitzel lunch at the restaurant whilst enjoying the fantastic views of the Middle Inn Valley, the Stubai and Zillertal Valley Alps, and the Wipptal Valley over the Italian border.
If you wish to venture even higher, you can join the cable car to the Hafelekar, the highest viewpoint at 2256 metres. A truly unforgettable excursion.

This morning we travel to a traditional Swiss dairy factory where the popular Appenzeller cheese is made. We will see how Appenzeller is produced and how its famous holes are made before enjoying a taste of this local speciality.
Leaving Switzerland behind, we make our way back to Austria’s westernmost province of Vorarlberg and Lake Constance. We take a stroll on the lakeside and see the famous and impressive stage used for the Bregenz Festival.
On our way back to the hotel, a stop will be made at the Fohrenburger Brewery in Bludenz. Fohrenburger creates 13 different types of beer and has been brewing since 1881.
After our evening meal at the hotel we will experience a Tyrolean Folklore Evening, where young men and women, dressed in traditional clothing, will sing, yodel and dance.

Today we travel to Garmisch-Partenkirchen where we will enjoy free time to explore our surroundings.
Garmisch in the west, and Partenkirchen in the east, were separate towns for many centuries, and still maintain quite separate identities.
Today, the united town is casually referred to as Garmisch, much to the dismay of Partenkirchen's residents.
Most visitors will notice the slightly more modern feel of Garmisch while the fresco-filled, cobblestoned streets of Partenkirchen offer a glimpse into times gone by.

Today we head south to Italy, where we pass the famous underwater village of Graun.
Lake Reschen is a reservoir created in the 1950s by merging the original Lake Reschen and Lake Mitter. As a result, two villages comprising 163 homes became submerged under the waters and today, all that is visible above the waterline is the bell tower; where local legend claims that, on occasion, the church bells can still be heard ringing from the lake.
Later, we continue further south where we enjoy a guided tour of a local vineyard and wine cellar, and learn how vines are cultivated, grapes processed and the wine made.
Following our tour, you will be able to taste the wine along with delicious Italian cheese and bread.

After breakfast we head into the beautiful Ziller Valley, where we visit the Zillertaler Speckstube in Fugen to see the traditional Tyrolean 'sausage' being prepared – a sample tasting is a must!
This afternoon we continue to the Tyrolean Schnapps Museum in the village of Pill, where we will learn all about the traditional art of Schnapps distilling, which still continues to this day.
Following the tour you will be able to sample the schnapps before we return to the hotel for dinner.
