Guests who pre-book shore excursions through the ship do not require individual tourist visas to enter Russia.
Guests who choose to arrange their own sightseeing in Russia must be in possession of an individual tourist visa prior to embarkation.
The Russian Embassy now require all visa applicants to personally visit London, Manchester or Edinburgh to submit a visa application and have biometric fingerprint data collected. You will be required to pay for your Russian Visa by cash, debit or credit card, cheques are not accepted.
Visa application fee is at additional cost. The Consular fee was £101.40 per person in 2018. There is also a fee to have your passports returned by mail (£13.80 per person).
Please advise at the time of booking or at least 6 months before departure if you intend to arrange your own sightseeing in Russia so that we can send detailed instructions of how to apply. Please do not apply for your visas before we send this information. Please note: Consular, processing and postage fees are subject to change.
Please note: In the event of adverse weather/sea conditions preventing the ship from calling at one of the scheduled ports, alternative arrangements will be made, where possible.
Please note, a gratuities charge of approximately £7 per person, per day will be added to your on-board account
Cruise and Maritime is an adult only cruise line – passengers must be aged 16 years or over at the date of travel.
Please note that due to limited docking facilities, it may be necessary in some ports to land by launch or tender.
