Itinerary

Please choose your preferred 10 day itinerary

Following your local departure, travel to the Channel for your crossing to Calais. Then travel onwards to your hotel in the Reims area for an overnight stay.

Depart your overnight hotel after breakfast. Continue your journey to La Clusaz in the French Alps and your hotel for a 7-night stay.

Travel to Annecy for a day at leisure. Situated on the lake of the same name and Capital of the Haute Savoie, Annecy is a most beautiful town and is dominated by its castle, which was built over the course of four centuries. As well as a picturesque lakeside promenade, you can wander through the quaint old town, which has arcaded streets criss-crossed by canals.

Today the group will enjoy an included visit to the Glacier des Bossons. The Bossons Glacier is one of the larger glaciers of the Mont Blanc massif of the Alps. From the top of the Bossons village a delightful chairlift will transport your group over meadows and alpine chalets to an altitude of 1425m, where you can enjoy exceptional views of the Bossons glacier.

Travel for a day at leisure to the town of Montreux which nestles in the sheltered Lake Geneva bay surrounded by vineyards and against a breathtaking backdrop of snow-covered Alps.

The city has a fine selection of buildings, many parks and gardens, stylish shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants and is set alongside Lake Geneva, where you can take delightful waterside walks. The group will have an included boat ride on Lake Geneva which will end in Évian-les-Bains where your coach will be waiting to pick the group up.

Today the group will take a journey through the Mont Blanc tunnel and travel to Cogne in the Aosta Valley. Cogne is a popular tourist destination and during the summer the locality is a beautiful high-mountain series of valleys and meadows wedged between the soaring peaks of the Alps, with wildflowers and pine forests for miles in every direction. Enjoy free time in the town.
