Departure from your local areas for the journey to Channel and your crossing to Calais. Then travel onwards to Antwerp for a few hours. Continue onto your hotel in Brussels for a three night stay on a bed and breakfast basis.

This morning we travel to Ghent. Enjoy the quaint cobbled streets and tree-lined canals of this historic and delightful town. Ghent manages to combine medieval architectural wealth and idyllic charm within its city walls. From St Michael’s bridge there is a wonderful view of the skyline of Ghent, which includes the three impressive towers of St Nicholas’ Church and Sint Baafs Cathedral with its elaborate stone and marble naves. We can organise a 2 hour walking tour of the city.

After Lunch travel to Bruges. Bruges is one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval cities, and is Belgium’s most visited town. There are stunning buildings which grace the centre, including the Gothic clock, town halls and medieval belfry that dominate the main square. The town also boasts some excellent art collections. Add to this the myriad of canals, cobbled streets and shops selling the famous Belgian chocolate on almost every corner, there is plenty to see and do. We can organise a boat trip for you.

Bruges Ghent

Today enjoy a full day visit to Brussels. In the morning the coach will take you for a scenic tour where you can see the Atomium, the Parliament etc. This city boasts a host of fascinating monuments, buildings and museums, along with countless cafés, restaurants and boutiques. Sit and watch the world go by from the comfort of a cosy bar on the Grand Place. Explore the area around the square – quaint little backstreets leading off in all directions – where you’ll find more inviting eateries. The rest of the day is free for you to explore

Brussels

Leave your hotel after breakfast and travel to Lille where you will have time for lunch then travel back to Calais for your return Channel crossing. Continue to your original joining point.
